What country do you like most (instead of yours...duh...)
My favorite is Japan because I love their culture designs ...and of course because they make anime....I love their sliding doors and also to watch the cherry blossoms fall ^^...I also like The Czech Republic because it has some beautiful monuments and other tourists stuff like that and because my favorite sportsman Pavel Nedved is a czech...What about you?
My favorite country is Norway (Even I am not from there. but I am born there) Whenever I am on a vacation in other countries, I always miss Norway though. I like the culture here, but not the school... I want to travel to Japan someday though. I wouldn't mind living in Japan if I could write and talk japanese.
totally disagree with you, they are the worst in the honesty department if it is concerning matters that affect their so called pride.
I hate them for that. (their history manipulations)
that said, it is good, I like the British way of life, you know, very easy going, really friendly and helpful, the attitude difference between the young and old is really massive, perhaps why it is so weird here.
And well, I guess you can say I love old buildings, very very beautoful ones.
America is actually one of the greatest places to grow up, in my opinion. They have almost everything that really matters: the freedom of almost anything. Although there are a lot of messed up things happening right now there, it's actually not such a bad place when you look at other countries. Ever leader that the United States has had had his motives and who knows? Maybe George Bush will do something good for his country. I wouldn't hold my breath though. But if you think about it, he is doing what he think is best. I hope. The United States is the home of many people who aren't afriad to speak up for themselves and I think that our goverment is fair and most of the time, they're nice and willing to help you. Like my family. We use up too much resources though. That's one major bad thing. I don't think we're great in the honesty department though, when it comes to certain leaders....like Clinton, but he was a good President. I think I went a little bit overboard so...I'm going to stop now!
I'd like to have a trip to Japan! Why!? Simple! It's because they've got million/billion of graphic novels in Japan. Event though Im studying French but really I love going to Japan. Furthermore my best friend's family is in Jap + there lots of hottie in Jap too. Im really looking forward to it! Yeah
I asure you, in my country I don't have less freedoms then you have in the US. I think the same goes for many other Europe contries and not only those. I really don't know why US people talk about freedoms like it's something extraordinary. It's rather a standard in civilized democratic countries, or am I wrong?
Anyway back to the topic, I would say Japan (no wayz! lol) because of the culture basicly, which I like a lot. And nice views, cherry trees win
Norway/Sweden for the natural environment. Slovenia and Austria because I went there and it's nice :P
US is also ok, tho I didn't like some things about it.
Egypt. I simply love the country's history... I find it interesting...
(Although I never said I want to move there... I just like the history.)
OoO someone else that likes Norway..(my fav country too because i have been there)
:D
the landscape is just wanderful and the people are really nice..but i have seen there a lot of people from other countrys too..>.<
i will have the ocasion to go there again this summer..yay
Cuba
¡Hasta la victoria, siempre!
Oh... me? Hehe... Japan. For many reasons. It basically is the opposite of where I live in, and it really is nice to be in a place unlike mine.
i like japan because of the anime is one really good reason. another reason is that they got some really awesome loooking cars. my favorite car the impreza wrx sti is japanese. they also have all the interesting gadjets. i would love to see some cool technology that they have. what i hate about japan is the 6 days of school but other than that its awesome. the food they have is good also.
I love the entire asia because i think they're culture and others tradditions, tales are all unique and pretty much more interessente than what i'm learning in canada about the culture and all...i love all the old king's tale of china and i love new drama of korea...the most....i love nihon for all the mangas and anime AJA AJA FIGTHING ASIA
Well many ppl here will say Japan ... kinda obvious
But I say Europe
I
want to go there, plus I can't really go to Japan, *I'm alergic to sea foods*
and they eat sushi and all that, and I like my food well cooked .... I hate food under cook
*lol*
Japan. Well this is miniTOKYO! In Japan they are sort of shut off from the rest of the world, they have enough content to make themselves a world of their own. I don't want to be easily affected by other countries and be made to be puppet who just look up to westerners. They have the cherry blossom trees all over and the beautiful scenics. Culture wise I am very attracted to J-pop and Japanese games. Their artists are just so different, they do not concentrate on unneccessary stuff(in the process confusing themselves) and work on the end product. Which is why you have nice anime which is a notch better than cartoon. With better illustration yet people still have the impression that they are meant for kids.
But I like some European countries too. I like deep forests, lakes and mountains, small and peaceful towns and most importantly castles! Castles remind me of all those fairy tales and the middle age. Which is why I don't like any classics from the renaissance, only like those things before America was discovered, before the 14th century. I like gothic stuff, I think they are very nice and special. And when you get bored you can go clubbing, dance music originated from Europe! In this case I'd like to be in Britain or Germany.
I think Canada is a good country (not just because I live there). I think that the only disappointing aspect of the country would be the political system. It's seen too many scandals to count. Ugh, it bugs me so much.
I honestly love European countries and Japan! I guess it's the different cultures that you don't see too often where I'm from. I would definitely love to travel to some places when I can afford to.
laughs @ how Australia gets its own poll choice option.
I like that.
My favourite country would probably be Australia simply because the air is good, the water is good, the welfare system is moderately good minus for the unintelligent employees, and the education is moderately okay if you are smart because you know you'll always turn out to be in a good school or have good education for the rest of your life.
I do like Japan. For a fact that if I know I lose something there, chances are I'll find it in lost property at the police station. And a fast lifestyle is something I'm trying to get used to.
Another place I like is Hong Kong (shhh it's still a country
) ...
it's polluted and it's putrid in some places, the people talk really loud and
all, but it's very convenient and all to travel around and everything.
And I have a feeling this thread is in the wrong category so if this moves house you might know why... unfortunately it'll take me a while to think of a better place to move to... so if it doesn't move... you'll know why too

Eh I give up. Can't think of a better category U_U;;
My favorite countries are Japan (do i really need to tell you why?), Russia, Canada(eh?), UK, Sweden, France. Goodbye!
Japan , just , I like .... manga anime :P
Apart from Australia (which is my homeland) there are two countries which I would like to visit before I die - Japan and Scotland.
Reasons:
-Japan: Beautiful landscape, intriguing and fascinating crossover of traditional and modern cutural aspects, beautiful and amazing people, hot springs, fantastic ski fields, a world renowned rail network and (out of all the cities in Japan) I would love to visit Kyoto.
-Scotland: I have always wanted to visit Scotland since I was just a boy. It's where my ancestors originated from so it would be kind of like a pilgrimage to me when I go over there. I have always wanted to attend the Endinburgh Military Tattoo, after watching it on TV every single year since I was three. I'm considering on doing a possible coach tour of the country in the next couple of years.
I would love to go to all of these countries (I will drool myself in Italy that's for sure <3 lol):
1- Ireland <-- Bishounens <333
2- Italy <-- Bishounens <333
3- Canada.
4- Scotland.
5- Austria <-- more bishounens <3333
6- Sweden <-- more more bishounens lol <33333
7- China.
8- Greece.
9- Japan.
10- France.
Countries with beautiful places to visit, great cultural values, interesting history, languaje and architecture, etc. I just love the idea of going to any of those countries.
i like china, japan, germany, vietnam and america :P
