I went to the music shop to get some new strings for my guitar....I told the
clerk I was looking for a certain gauge strings that I always use...but he
suggested I get Beefy strings (thicker gauge) because I told him I detune my
guitar alot...so I bought them...I ran out of money and didn't have any for the
bus so I had to walk nearly 5 miles to get home...that just started it! I get
home and start up my strings....I get them wound around once to start them and
as I start to tune them to standard tuning.....3 out of the 6 strings
snap.....now that makes no sense...strings shouldn't snap tuning to the standard
tuning...sooo im pretty much pissed off for the rest of the day now damnit
well my guess is that the strings he sold me were TOO thick for my guitar....and
I told him what kinda guitar I had too....dumbarse I tells ya..so I'm stringless
for another week

First thing that comes to mind is this girl in my Western Civilization 113
class. She never leaves me alone. I've tried sitting in another part of the
room, ignoring her, getting snappy, but she doesn't get the idea that maybe I
don't want to talk to her/be friends. Last week she called me a "punk
rocker" -- I hate labels -- and yesterday, she either forgot or totally
ignored the professor's rule about scented stuff (we're not allowed to use
perfumey lotions, body sprays, etc. because the professor is allergic and other
students might be allergic to the stuff). I get migraine headaches, and one of
the triggers is scented lotions, body sprays, blah blah. It took the professor
ten minutes to get this girl's attention before he could tell her to go wash it
off after I complained.
Second, it's done nothing but rain since last week, and it's cold. It's not
supposed to be cold in the middle of May.
My mini rant is that some guys just
don’t get a clue! This ex-boyfriend of
mine (who is freaking obsessed) won't leave me alone. I wrote a thread about
freaky ex stalker boyfriends. Anyways, I thought that I had finally gotten rid
of him. It had been almost two or three weeks since I had heard from his
obsessive calling. But won't you guess last night he calls! Then today he is at
my work. I have to hide at lunch to avoid him! This is ridiculous! I told him
that I don't want to talk to him. Why won't he leave me alone? He won't take no
for an answer! I have another ex like that too; pretty soon he will show up too.
I just know it. They usually cause trouble in pairs and they don't even know
each other. I hate men anymore. I only attract the freaks for some reason. Why
can't I find a normal man that is going to freak out on me and become obsessed
with me and think that they own me forever more? Are there any normal ones out
there?
Chore-Boy: Isn't that a good thing that happened in a way? You can now find
asomething else to entertain you for a week, you got some exercise (heh, that
was a lot of walking...), and now you can vent your frustration at the dude that
sold you the strings if it was his fault. Remember, there's good in everything
that happens, although it may be hardly noticeable!
eXDream: Obviously that girl is clingy, and if she doesn't talk like that to
anyone else I'd guess she has a crush on you. Her thick-headedness might be able
to be used against her, if she won't leave you alone... For example, drop some
obvious hints that say "LEAVE ME ALONE!", and if she's still talking
to you after that, you could say something like "Do you realize that the
last dozen comments I've made were practically asking you to leave me
alone?" Unless she's about as sharp as a dead rat, she should leave you
alone for a while.
PS: I hate labels too :P
cheza: Guys are harder to shake off than girls, and it seems like every time a
guy won't leave a girl alone something bad comes from it. All I could say to
this is threaten to call the police, and if he keeps on pestering you, actually
call the police on him and get him to leave you alone. Same thing goes for your
other ex there :P
It seems like you've got some bad luck in getting guys, there... Hang in there,
if you flip a coin enough it'll eventually land on heads!
And for my own mini rant, I have a girlfriend that lives in Malaysia (and I live
in the US, so you can imagine the difficulty in finding good times to talk T.T),
and recently she went to visit her family who has no internet, and either her
mobile or yahoo messenger bugged out, so we can't talk to each other like that
anymore... So I'm halfway to going nuts, the only times we can talk is once a
week or so when she can go to her dad's workplace and leech off of their
internet... Well, there ya go, now more people need to make mini rants so I can
reply to them
Chore-boy: do you think you might be able to get a refund? cause its not normal
for that many strings to snap when you just got them. not to mention if it was
bad advice from someone who works there its their fault.

about it, they could at very least talk to the guys, give them a 'friendly

this point because I don't want to embarrass him and really piss him off. He is
a nice guy just totally clueless that I want nothing to do with him even though
I have told him so. He isn't that smart. The other stalker boyfriend I have gone
to the police about. They went and told him to stay away from me. He still shows
up and stands outside my work. The police say they can't arrest him for that. He
isn't talking to me or coming near me he is just watching. I said that it just
proves that he is watching me other times too. They said I have no proof. The ex
knows he can get away with it. He just wants me to see him watching me so it
freaks me out. Well talk to you guys later. I have to get going for now.

I have exactly two-and-a-half weeks before my baccalaureate starts. A whole week
of exams, 8 to 5 in the afternoon, (plus orals later) on almost every subject:
math, physics and chemistry, biology, english, history and geography, german,
philosophy, even sports for chrissakes! This makes me panic.
I can't find a boy/girlfriend, so I'm a bit depressed.
I hate my sister. The annoying, possessive brat.
My friends annoy me. Stupid people
My english teacher can't analyse a poem properly. Idiot! >=0!
Did I mention final exams. *panic* *panic* *panic* *panic*
And now I will either cry in a corner or commit suicide. And
life goes on!

The best thing you can do is calm down and wait. If things are hard, and you
take it patiently, then you'll be a little bit readier for when you have a 6

means that about 70 percent of subbed anime doesn't work. Oh well.
As for exams, I feel better. I got 15 out of 20 in biology today, and 9.1 out of
20 in math (my best gade of the year!). A big load of revision and I should be
ok... except in history. Stupid dates.
As for boy/girlfriend I'm a bi guy - the whole school knows now coz I yelled it
out when I was drunk on a revision trip. *rolls eyes* Anyway, I don't want to
wait, but I have no clue what to do (though I get the general idea)

her any way I can *grin* That includes taunts about her weight, hehe.
