If the graphics are even better than that in World of Warcraft, I can't wait for
the movie to come out! But if the release date hasn't been set yet, that could
mean that the movie won't come out for maybe at least a year? hope not. anyway,

As far as i know, it's going to be a brand new plot based on the warcraft / WoW
world, basically meaning that it will not be telling any story that we've
already seen or heard of... But coming from Blizzard, we can except something
top-notch, especially since they have some power over the script and everything

guess .... and even if they give one, you can bet it'll be postponed

Obviously, I'm not a big fan of WoW. But I do like Warcraft, so this isn't bad
news. Usually Blizzard is pretty good about having fresh ideas that add more to
the worlds and environments they create, with gameplay to boot, so I wouldn't be
surprised if the movie told quite the tale.
It is going to suck. After playing warcraft 2+3 I don't see good movie material
comeing out of that. If I want to see a fantasy movie related to this kind of
material I always have Lord of the Rings.
hmmm i think if it is done in live action, it will probably be pretty crappy
unless it is like 75% cg just because of size and ability restrictions of real
humans. full cg would probably be pretty awesome. ^_^
I'd like a Starcraft movie better. I really like the intro animations and the
little cinematics between missions in both Original and Broodwar. Can you
imagine a whole movie like that even with those same graphics?

i saw a trailer of a B movie being produced in China a while back that was
called warcraft the movie? it isnt that movie u mean right cause that was like a
live action movie and it looked like a cosplay party :P
I think it's obvious that Blizzard will make a fully CG film out of this,
because:
-there are tons of other species that require this (demons, undead, griffons,
orcs)
-live action would just plain suck... I mean imagine a guy dressed up like an
orc... they wouldn't be half that beefed up....

I personally preferred the old RTS Warcraft story and games, so i hope it's based on that
