New poem! I actually wrote it during the school year sometime, though I'm not sure when, but found it within the last few weeks.

It's very simplistic, but that's one of the things I find appealing about it, surprisingly enough. No rhyme scheme, no intentional meter, no particular structure...just my inner thoughts put into words on a page (or screen, in this case). Enjoy~

Gone

If I close my eyes,
Will I disappear?
If I hide away,
Will you forget?
Darkness covers
And I am saved...
