The manga is pretty good, and an interesting take on the whole "harem-style" story, only reversed! (note: "harem" anime/manga refers to shows like Tenchi Muyo, many of the maid-themed stuff...mostly a boy surrounded by a lot of pretty girls). I'm looking forward to the anime getting licenced over here.

haha this anime is a real big hit in singapore, as far as i know.

i like the way most of the episodes' adventure ends when the episode is over, such that i have a choice on whether i want to keep watching or not.and i choose to cos its hilarious.i especially like the fact that haruhi is so...different a heroine compared to other animes

Ouran is such a hilarious & entertaining anime which I like it very much! ^^ Haven't read the manga yet, but probably will later~

I love all of the hosts (though Honey as nothing but cute little kid love) and their different personalities! In terms of looks I'd have to say that I like Tamaki the best though... (though his personality is another story... )

I really enjoy this series, both anime AND manga! It's always good for a laugh, but my favorite episodes are the ones with a little bit of seriousness in them (i.e.: the twins fight, the beach episode-- where Tamaki finds out Haruhi's weakness)

well i haven had time for animes lately so busy but i thought i start reading this one next week heard it was can someone tell me of the storyline?

well its about Haruhi is a poor girl in a rich kids' school. She only got to go there because of a scholarship. She happens upon the Host Club when she is looking for a place to study quietly. After getting there, she breaks an $80,000 vase. After which, she is forced to work at the club to pay off the debt. The only problem is that the members don't realize she's a girl....! hope you will like it..! ^^ ja-ne...! ^^

I feel that the manga is better than the anime in a sense that its funnier. But the anime is pretty good too..and although I always know the story already even before the next subbed episode is out, I still look forward to watching it. Definitely one of my favourite anime. I like Tamaki and the twins!

I love the anime, but I have to say that the manga is better. The art just captures my attention so much. Then the anime feels a little different, but I'm happy that the anime closely follows the manga. Plus the story is so unique that it just keeps my interest. Though I can't wait for the ending and what kind of ending it will be.

for me~ I lyk Tamaki-sama (lol) well... about the anime... dis is one of my fave anime. Comedy-Romance anime and the most funny anime I had ever watched. I haven't seen the manga yet, but as i have read from d other sites, there are some parts of the manga that didn't show up in the series, itself. ^^ I hope there would be a manga of OHSHC here in our country... so that i can tell. I want to watch the episode 15 right now, but... they still haven't subbed it yet... it's still raw T___T poor me~ but hey, I watched the raw episode 15, and I can't understand what they had said... I can understand japanese but not that much~ just few words and sentences. >< hope they'll be posting the subbed episode 15 soon~! *prays*

never read the manga, but as our fabled anime blogger kurogane calls it, ouran is "full of pure win". the animation quality is superb, and the use of SD and other anime-exclusive gag effects are well timed and integrated. furthermore, its just a good show. not much to complain about it, except that the whole thing might get repetitive at times, but ouran always seems to pull some randomness to keep things fresh. love it!

I love the fact that this series doesn't solely revolve around Haruhi and Tamaki (unlike most series of similar genre). Everyone gets to have his/her own story and not just be an ingredient to "decorate" the main characters. They use "stereotype" characters as a pun and perfectly work in and around it.

(not to mention every chapter/scene cracks everyone up. You just won't know what will come out in the next page/scene!)

i like the manga and the anime,
but i prefer the manga because it explains further and in detail...
i hope the volume 9 come out asap!

e manga is better. but i prefer i generally prefer anime to manga. der's e add of voices n sounds. n well....its animated . e anime, a lot shorter dan e manga, n e endin is so abrupt . will it ave a 2nd season? i hope so.
