This may be old news to some, but personally, i find it intriguing.
Well, being a Nintendo fan- i've been trying to find stuff out about the new Wii
(mock the name if you must... i couldnt care)... But then i stumbled across a
game in production by Nibris called Sadness...
"...In my head there is a voice, different from the others. Whenever it
answers it overwhelms the remaining voices, it mixes up thoughts and destroys
peace. It tells me that I'm only mixed up in a thought which yearns to prove its
own existence. It is the original voice, which wants to free itself from my
head, to free itself from the logic and reason it is being stifled by. It is the
voice of chaos which is now screaming frightfully in my head for me to take an
axe resting against the wall and cut off my father's head..."
-Maria Lengyel.
The study of fear and other borders of the human imagination... A trip to the
darkest corners of consciousness, in all of us... A trip to the hell of the
subconscious and not necessarily to return...
Sadness is a gothic horror adventure game with survival horror elements. The
game plans to make players confront their fears with only what they can grab up
out of their environment to protect them.
thats sick yet great at the same time, what ever am not even going to bother
trying to exsplane what i think, but what i want to know, will that come out
here (US) ? that sounds kinda dark for a nintendo game, i mean 64 was total crap
cept golden eye, KI, Orge battle tatics whats it? and VERY few other games. same
for Gamecube, (cept for the RE remixes and 0) they had very liltle worth playing
UNLESS you where a) a child or b) could read Japanese and c) could even afforde
imports (i cant) so i dont get my hopes up for anything i see comming out unless
its a sure release in the US wich is not the case with alot of games would of
liked to play. Well atleast we got Katamari. Well as much as i HATE Microsoft
being that its a crappy american company atleast with that one i know well get
most of the games. alot more then well get for PS3 or Wii. but then again no
system is worth 400$ oh and not to mention the HD tv you would need for it to
even look decent, well games are not for the real gamers anymore. they are more
for the rich. Pift......trying playing Tomb raider Legends on NexGen settings
(PC) or Hitman Blood Money AAxanything really with the res at 1600 you can
forget about. better have a AlienWare. that cost about as much as a cheap car.
sorry getting off subject with my bitterness.
It will most likely come out in the US, as it is being developed in an English
speaking country, Nibris don't exactly have any translators, so unless it is
sucessful I wouldn't expect to see it outside of the US/UK/Aus.
It does sound interesting, but also pretty messed up. Shooting zombies in RE is
one thing, they aren't people anymore, but killing innocents is a different
matter. In the GTA games its is far from bloody and brutal, however mixing the
two things looks set to end up with a very contraversial game.
And lovemehate, no need to get all angry at the world, sure the 64 didn't have
much, but Zelda alone was reason to get one, plus if you liked multiplayer but
weren't so big on FPS, the GameCube was the ONLY console worth getting. And
Microsoft isn't as evil and horrible as people make them sound, they're just a
typical monopolistic company, they might milk their customers big-time, but they
don't screw them over and laugh in their faces.
Plus making bold predictions about the next gen is a little pointless, even
professional analysts can't agree on how the console wars will conclude, and I
who have followed the market for years am puzzled too. If you are going to
ramble on at least make sense, otherwise don't click submit and save us the
trouble.
where do you live? cause where i live well i can pretty much state what i want.
when i want. i dont rember breaking any of the fourm rules. so just for you am
going to ramble some more and if it did not make sense to you, sorry you can't
read. but let me guess you go around posting, these high and mighty replys of
yours. do you feel better? i mean WHO are you to say that i can and cannot make
"bold perdictions" ? i dont go around telling people what they should
and should not do. but this is off the topic so i wont reply here anymore about
this so you can get the last reply boss.
I'd be surprised if this came out for Nintendo or stateside for the US
but...Nintendo has been getting more darker and mature teen-like games.
It would be nice to see though.
And i don't need a game to feel the hell of the subconscious... *blinks* But it
would be nice to feel that psychotic side out for once. *puts the halo back on
my head*
This looks to be a good game. this could be one of the interactive games on the
wii, this means you can grab the object then swing it around the same way as you
swing the controller. hehehe
damn this will be a game to watch out for......
just keep a safe distance away from your tv
Indeed - you're right atog.
i've watched the trailer and it seems to have an almost 'Myst' like quality...
but totally different, if that makes any sense!
all in all, i'm still very interested!
