Well, yes, its been 10 years now since this games release. But once again i pulled it out to play(a little break from Breath Of Fire: Dreagon Quarters, and the save music in Dark Cloud 2 sounds suspiciously similar to that of Mario RPG), and its still amazingly fun. How many others have played it? It came out at the end of the SNES so its a fairly rare game and wasn't given much credit in its time, but has since sparked several other games, such as Paper Mario, Paper Mario: The Thosand Year Door, Mario and Luigi and Mario And Lugi: Partners in Time, and I hear another game thats since been long forgotten(post if you've heard of what i'm talking about).

Anyway, great game, I finally got to Great Guy Casino, lots of fun. However, the real news is this(in case you haven't heard):

Geno is being concidered for Super Smash Bros. Brawl!

Last i heard he was in the top 10 for suggestions for brawl characters which opened up at E3. There is a large campaign going on in some groups to get both Geno and Mallow in the game, and at least Geno seems to be doing well.

well more of geno though.. he was my favourite character in super mario rpg.... >...< ahhhh brings back memories....

Yea, Geno was a cool guy. Personally i loved just having Bowser as a character, but Geno was awesome. He had the strongest attack of anyone. If hes in Smash Bros Brawl he so needs Geno Wirl as a move.

I honestly would like to see Mallow. Don't ask me why, but I just like him

While Geno is cool and all, I'm not sure about him being in SSBB, I don't see why it wouldn't work but he is pretty obscure. I go to GameFAQs and because of that I'm pretty much sick of taking about Geno, because you can't have a conversation without a "Geno FTW" thrown in somewhere.

Well, they are pulling out plenty of obscure characters for brawl it seems. They have Metaknight from Kirby games coming in, reportedly Solid Snake from Metal Gear series, even though that was only on a nintendo platform in a long time. Anyway, it seems they're loading the next one up with alot of different characters from everywhere. So Why not Geno or Mallow? They are, after all, original MARIO characters, and usually thats a good portion of the Super Smash Bros. lineup. Hell, in Melee they threw in Doctor Mario who is rather obscure and almost exactly like mario in every way thinkable.

We want to see characters of other companies, not remakes of the Nintendo. Of course is excellent to see Pit again.

And Dr Mario will most likely be removed this time around. And I'm willing to bet there is at least one other 3rd party character.

Well, I wouldn't expect many third party characters. All characters have some association with Nintendo usually. The only real stretch is Solid Snake, but Metal Gear did start on the original Nintendo. Otherwise, all characters in previous smash bros games have been original Nintendo characters as far as I know. Although there are a couple I simply DON'T know.
