1. what kind of wallpapers on MT catch your attention? which ones do you pick as
favorites/download most of the time?
2. which ones do you NOT like?
1.for me it would be fantasy looking ones with lots of sparkles, wings, or a
celestial feeling. I also like wallies that are unique and just look like
they've been worked on alot.
2. as for the ones I dont like, it would have to be ones that are really really
plain and have bad extractions. also, ones that use real life scenery/objects
that dont blend well with the character(s) (heheh cant say too much about the
real life scenery because I've done a couple myself and they look quite
horrible)
Exceptionally well done wallpapers regardless of genre should be applauded.
Especially if you've never seen something like it before.
As for those I don't like, it'd have to be those rather filtery shiny wallpapers
with a main subject a.k.a a cute girl and masses of sparkles just to get people
to say +fav.
The reason why I don't like them so much is usually the quality isn't as good as
you think they are, and the fact that there are tonnes of them available for
download. Those wallpapers don't require too much work (you can make one of
those in less than a day) and usually have over saturated colours... and I'm
picky with colours
Well, i like the different style like vector art on wallpaper. Yup, simpleism is
better than those whore filtered with various kind of effects for example, too
grungy effects on the background and that too shiny thingy. Well, i don't mean
to offends anyone here ' .
Yea, i like fantasy too but it's depend on how well the effects have been done.
Well, i'm not a good wallers but I just say what i think that i really like from
wallies
i don't usually fave often, and i download even lesser.but when i do, the
wallpaper has to be high quality and most of all, look good while still playing
the role of a wallpaper.i generally don't like the glittery ones cos they're
blinding and its hard to see your icons on them.but i think over time, my taste
has changed from appreciating complicated wallpapers to simple ones now

don't like is wallies with too much stuff in it or too plain which can be easily
made within a few minutes lol

once in a while.....cos I hardly find those that are really eye-catching though
I hardly fav because there're quite a lot of wallpapers that have been
over-fav-ed and only great works turn up once in a while. But I always download
a lot, to see some effects Artists have put in.

those with scans extracted horribly or worse with the use of non-modified stock
images.
Well, mostly it depends on what I'm looking for. If I'm looking for a wallpaper
to use, then it's usually the very simple but stylish vector kind with a few
colors. But elaborately painted walls also catch my attention. And I'll fav just
about anything with a strong composition.
I usually don't like the wallpapers with a cute anime girl and sparkles and the
photoshop grass brush. xD I also hate Carnelian. *gets shot*
I don't like wallpapers that look like someone just put in a bunch of random
stuff for the sake of making it look less "simple."
1. well made wallies with high quality graphics and does not over-use filter
effects
2. i like textless wallpaper more than those with text because sometimes the
text or what's written ruins the beauty of the wallie for me (but that's just me
)
3. sometimes i go for the simpler wallies. as some say, less is more.
to tell the truth, i usually download a scan or wallie just to get the part that
i want / need to make my own wallpaper. sad to say i'm not that good a waller as
some out there so i don't get to make as much as i'd like
1. high quality + my fav anime. decent ones though ^^
2. non decent ones. slightly nudity is alright for me but not too over pg 13.
