depends on what I'm doing I guess. when I'm drawing fanart for anime/manga, I
usually try to incorporate the style of the series (using lots of reference
pics...)
but when I'm doing original anime/manga, I think I'm influenced by the style of
Inuyasha (for hair and eyes sometimes), Fruitsbasket (for face shapes, chibis,
and sometimes hair), and Gundam SEED (for eyes and hair). that's probably
because I've drawn a lot of fanart for those series, so the style becomes habit
and natually becomes part of my own.
I do occasionally try realistic. I sort of have my own style of semi-realism,
though I'm not too fond of it. I've tried photo-realism, but I've always need to
use reference photos.
Any style is fine. But some factors play major role in choosing the style I want
to apply in art. For instance, Angle (perspective), color (whether to be used or
not), Light/Shadow, Topic of the drawing (is it architecture, person, robot,
machine or something else), etc.
I like Ken Akamatsu's style, 'cause that's similar to my style (though I only
draw fanart or something similar), simple but realy cute. That doesn't mean I
"coppy" his style. I have my own style before I read Love Hina; and
it's interesting that K.A' style is my favorite style. That is one reasone I
like Love Hina

Oh I would love to do something similar! Either him or Yuji Shiozaki.
The choice of style really depends on what you are drawing. Though im sure some
people do actually prefer a single style, I think all artists like to mix it up
a bit and try new things to broaden their horizons,
ukiyoe! well thatll be a great challenge.. good luck. But you should try some
other styles too, maybe you feel better on a different one you havent tried.
I love drawing! I always draw girls like Sakura (in Tsubasa). I can draw well
(according to my friends). And I love Clamp's style very much, exspecially in
Tsubasa and KObato! I always imitate them. It's a good way to draw better.
I try many style, pencil sketch, watercolor, black ink painting or vector art,
however, I still cannot find what I like most. They're have their own good and
bad and now I'm still in search of my own unique style.
hrm... my own style? It's kind of a mix between chibi-ish and realistic... and
extremely sketchy.
Occassionally will try something different, but that's my favorite.
Wonder.
I'm interested in any style.
Ukiyoe, heh.I wanna try it.
I just like to draw in a style which fits in what I want to draw xD

I always draw in anime/manga style. I'm not good at drawing people realistic.
