Hello, this is my first time add a picture to Minitokyo. And I add this
wallpaper that I got from website (but I forgot the name of the website).
The name of the wallpaper was Macross Plane...
But then, this wallpaper is quarantained.
Moderator or anyone...
Could you give me some reason, why this wallpapers is qurantained ?
Or maybe because it is not a wallpaper that I made by myself ?
PS : could anyone give me information how to add wallpapers to gallery, without
being quarantained or deleted by moderator, please.

yes, all wallpaper submitted needs to be done entirely by yourself. I think if
you really want to share that wallpaper, you can try to submit it as a scan, and
in your description, say that you didn't make it.
as for making wallpapers, first choose a scan you like (with a large resolution,
NEVER screenshots or anything grainy), extract it, and make a background for it.
If you've never done this before, you can first post it in the Sandbox (with a
link to your work in progress), and we can help you along
Even submitting wallpapers made by someone else as a scan isn't really consdier
proper...
Personally, I find tonnes of scans and nice images, but I don't share anything
here that I didn't work on or scan myself, and that's my personal policy. It
also prevents deletion due to plagarism.
If you're goign to make an attempt at wallpapers, post your first try here first
and get some feedback so you won't have to worry about something getting deleted
again.
I'd strongly recommend NOT submitting other people's wallpapers as scans because
it's ambiguous whether you are ripping/ submitting to gain credits.
People have been banned for

BTW submitting other people's work that's not yours is called ripping: the
equivalent of artistic plagiarising. It's forbidden in Minitokyo.
That link seriously needs love. Take like 30 minutes of your time to read
through that carefully: it'll stop any deletions, wasting of credits and from
getting warnings and it'll keep you up to date and out of trouble
And also about submitting wallpapers as scans, the policy says "official
wallpapers" but I think that might be changed to be like not allowed at
all... because it's still kinda considered ripping. After all, an official
wallpaper was made by someone else
I recommend finding scans on Minitokyo and making your own wallpapers.There's
the Sandbox if you need help or suggestions.
If you don't think that art's your thing, there are plenty of other ways to earn
credits- art's not the only way to go But
don't ask what to do to get credits, because it's a secret. Only experimentation
will tell.

Well as people have already said You may not submit wallpapers made by other people. You must submit wallpapers that you have made yourself
Furthermore please post any and all complaints or questions about deleted images in this thread.
Complaints: deleted images, warnings, bans.
