When you play a game like Final Fantasy or any rpg where you can name the stars what do you like to call you characters. do you name them after people you know? cartoon characters,animal, anime hero's. what cause i was wonder if anyone else does that or do you just leave the character as is. usually i like to name the main hero say like Cloud or Zidane after myself and friends are the other characters cause it's gives me the feel that im on a that great adventure. also personally my favorite Final Fantasy games are Final Fantasy 7 or course and Fianl Fantasy 9 those are 2 best.

I always give them my own names, of course the main characters has my name

I usually stick with the defult name, however in Zelda games I never call my character Link, but rather my real name.

Nah I usually just stick to the original names, so it fits in with the original storyline.

Stick to the original names. Unless there is no default names, I will use the default. But when I create a new character, I usually use a name that come from a memorable game or film.

Ragnarok Online o.ou un rpg interminable ^^

On games that you can have more than one save file I have my first game as the real names and then the other files be with either friends names or "theme" names, such as a group of people from other games or movies etc...

i use the default names i think even if theyre strange ^_^

The first play through I leave the characters names and if the RPG is good enough and I play it again, then I might change the name.
