T_T
I'm getting the first warning, because I was "ripping"...
It means I've only got 2 more warnings from moderator to be kicked out from MT. T_T

I just want to ask :
Can my first warning eliminated (forgiven) or it will stay forever ?
Please.... Moderator...
Well, it is my fault, because didn't read the rules... T_T
Also, it was my first time sending the wallpaper since I'm a new member here.

Oh yeah, the rules said that I can send my own wallpapers that I made from Adobe Photoshop... Is it true ?
So I can edit some wallpapers that I found from website (cropping some images), than I can resend here and for confirmation, I can send the picture to MT-Forum-Sandbox...

warnings stay forever. What they tell you not to do, just don't do it. And you'll be fine.

That would still be considered ripping. I dont mean to be cruel, but YOU DONT EVER TAKE AN IMAGE OUT OF AN ALREADY MADE WALLPAPER! You see a wallpaper = DONT edit it and claim it as your own. even if you post it in the sandbox, your thread will be closed. Altering someone else's wallpaper in anyway and making it your own is against the rules in MT. You are taking someone elses hard work, time, and effort, and making it your own.
Here is what you have to do if you want to make your own wallpapers

1. find your own scan! there are loads of scans on MT that are great for wallpapers. remember that = SCAN.
2. extract your scan. that is part of the pain of making a wallpaper! (something I dont enjoy very much). if you dont know how to extract, here are two good tutorials.

http://celestial-star.net/tutps.php?mode=view&id=18

and

http://celestial-star.net/tutps.php?mode=view&id=26

those tutorials teach you two different ways on how to extract.

then all you have to do is make a background for your scan, and do some other things and you'll have your own wallpaper! You better hook yourself up with some nice brushes too, if you want to wallpaper. Heres a good thread for you

Photoshop Tutorial Sites

tutorials, fonts, brushes..etc. everything you need to have a good start. if you still dont know what ripping is, even after you make your first wall, then I suggest you post it here just so others make sure you havent ripped. (someone will let you know). its also good because you'll get alot of advice on how to improve your walls. if your first wall isnt good enough, theres also a chance that it could be deleted just for bad quality reasons.

and finally....well, its kind of stupid for not reading the rules. Rules are meant to be read! (not ignored) if you still dont know them, maybe you should become a little more familiar with them

Since you are a new member, you should have read the Support Section first.

.... the answer is no. You can't do that.

Starrliteangel is correct.

It doesn't matter if you took someone's wallpaper, took out a portion or edited the WHOLE thing so it didn't look anything like what you had in the first place. It's STILL ripping. If you like, consider ripping as artistic plagiarism.

Even if you provide credit in your description: I cropped blah's wallpaper, it's STILL ripping.

Why? you may ask.

Some people have gone to a LOT of trouble to cleaning up text covering scans and redrawing parts of it like shoes and even drawing the rest of the body etc. When you use that, it's clearly not the original scan, but someone else's work.

The only things you can "take" to make a wallpaper are the following: scans, vectors (read the description first and ask the person who made the vector. When you submit your wallpaper, provide them with credit in your description), brushes and textures and fonts from wherever you want, and stock photos off Minitokyo.

In other words, wallpapers are NOT a resource for creating your own wallpapers.

Gee...
Thanks a lot to you all :)
Those are helpful for me...

PS : I've already read the MT rules. For now on, I will be more careful...

Thanks again...
