Well about referee decisions... I believe the Football Council ruled that the
decisions made by the referees and lines-men are always final and unchangeable.
Video playback footage cannot be used to make the decisions. The whole point is
to maintain the fluidity of the game. Sure the refs will make bad calls every
now and again, but in general I think they've done a decent job (there's been a
crazy amount of yellow and red cards handed out this World Cup)
Who do I think will be in the final... The way things are going, it looks like
Germany will be in the final. They've been playing very well and both their
offence and defence are pretty solid. I haven't seen many of Italy's matches but
they don't appear to be as good as they used to.
I'll be rooting for Portugal in their match tonight against England (boooo hiss
^_^ ). I don't see England getting into the final since they have a pretty poor
defence (their new goalie can barely keep track of the ball). Brazil vs France
should be a good match tonight. France started off very poorly and I was
