Have you ever had the sense of deja vu when something has only happened to you
for the first time? It has to me, & I just stand still for a moment &
then forget all about it later.
It's also weird when you think what happened was predicted by a dream. I don't
know, but my guess is that it could be a chemical in the brain that triggers
that feeling. I tend not to remember the times that I have had that feeling so I
can't really pull up an example. I have had that feeling though.
I remember once as a kid, I was in the car with my family, and we drive by this
red car an intersection pulled off to the side. It was broken down or something,
and there was a couple pulling stuff out of the boot.
As we drove by I just kept staring at them, wondering why it was so familiar,
and I didn't yet realize what they were doing in the boot, so I said to myself
"maybe they're pulling out paint tins." And what do they pull out?
Paint tins.
There was this one time where this guy said to me on the train ride home:
"Did I sit next to you in the morning on this train?" I stared at him
for a minute and said: "No, I don't think so." But it felt like for a
minute that I knew hime from somewhere...strange. o.O Then there are times where
you feel like you did this before. Creepy, really.
Some time. i feel weird, it freaked me out some time. i don't know what i living
in, a dream or real life. Like one time i watch a anime and i feel i was watch
it before just like playing back a video of my life but at that moment i knew i
watch it that for the first time... Creepy.
They way I experience it, is that it's something I dreamed about a while ago and
totally forget about. Then, suddenly and unexpectedly, it happens and you
remember seeing it in a dream.
Makes you wonder if indeed you can forecast the future in your subconscious
while dreaming (is it a paranormal ability/gift some people have?)... That's
what I wondered about for a long time.
A while ago there was a documentary and they said people experience something as
a déjà vu because the information we see, doesn't arrive
simultaneously in the cortex responsible for processing it. We get 1 part only
and it gets processed without us knowing it and the suddenly the second part
arrives and get processed. This triggers the cells where the half processed
information was stored, making the brain believe we already experienced it.. In
fact we did already experience it, but it took a fraction of second to realize
it ^^'
It's like the brain got a little slowdown.
Deja Vu annoys me, it happens so much, that weird dizzy feeling, and knowing
you've seen it somewhere before.
Weirdly, if you know it's going to happen, or you have the sense that this thing
is going to happen, and you don't do it, you tend to be sick to your stomach.

really have Big deja vu, just small things. but it's cool and mystery on the
same time^^
Yeah I had deja vu many times. Mostly in dreams I geuss. It's like I won't
remember the dream cause of my horrible memory but when it happens in real life
then I'll remember it. I'll be like deja vu! Ya know.
i have deja vu alot too, if you go to howstuffworks.com and search deja vu you
can learn more. i think they said it was your hippocampus misfiring and
mistakenly recognizing something
i think it creats a feeling of illusion yet gets so realistic at times
i remember a newspaper article about a lady who use to see a beautiful house n
mountains in the background in her dream for long n once when she went to a
place where she visited for the first time but accidently she saw the same house
with mountains around which saw in her dreams........ it might be true
i myself hav a lot of personal experiences regarding de ja vu
there is probably no specific reasons behind this but im a person who very much
believe in re-birth n i believe that it surely has a link with it....

HuH. I've disliked deja vu. It's so unsettling.

subconsious is catching up with your conscious... lol
Sounds like , "Your former shadow caught up with self." Cool.
yeah, hate that feeling especially if its something from a dream/daydream. Yucks, now why do we have that feeling ? I am dying to know too! =X
Yes, i had sometimes
It's really weird
Sometimes.... yes
I saw someone and I knew I'd seen him before but he didn't know me.....
A weird moment of silence
I experience deja vu a couple of times too. It's kinda scary.

The déjà vu effect happens quite often to me.

It's like it is already written in time.
