Banning Hate Threads

Maybe Minitokyo's Fourm should ban hate fourms, especially in in-depth discussion section. It produces a negative image to Minitokyo and make more rude and disgusted comments to the M'ters on this site. I suggest we should ban them so people won't make rude comments to anime and others subjects that some or many people like.

Exactly how would you define a "Hate forum"? Do you mean threads on hateful subjects? Or threads about people not liking a certain anime? If you could give an example, I'd understand better.

There should be a couple limits on this (for instance if someone takes a racist angle, this would be completely unacceptable) but we cannot stop others from voice negative opinions about something they feel strongly against.

To truly appreciate the full power of freedom of speech, we must not only give an ear to what we wish to hear, but also sincerely listen to something we would spend a lifetime opposing because your opponent has the right to hold their view.

And say the forums do get banned? What will be the next freedom to suffer on this site? The problem with banning unpleasant speech is something always unpleasant to somebody so where do we draw the line?

Hmm... there can only be one particular view in mind when coming towards a thoughtful and considerate discussion, and that would be the opportunity to respect everyone's thoughts, views, and beliefs in hold.

Even though this particular role would be quite the essence and necessity in order to make everything perfectly string out together in harmony, the unfortunate reality with this generation, likewise from many other generations of the past is that vocally, people just don't attack only on the sight of their opinions. Rather, they would probably ring for their necks further down the line instead, choking them literally in blind sight and often drawing quite an incomprehensible conclusion below as a likely result. It can't be helped.

Where there are great discussions when people do sit down and take the time and effort to listen to before counter spilling with their very own views, comments, and experiences, not many are following quite that suit and uniform in nature, hence why I would not blame you if you do point out the rude and uprising ruptures that tends to "cease the day," if I can slightly recall from time to time. It's likely inevitable that everyone would share the ball when one desparately wishes to hug it more than the others would, and you can't avoid those kind of situations. In other words, not everyone wants to play fairly, and you can't expect everyone to react in some properly mannered, revolutionary type of way.

That is why it would be best considered if you would actually ignore them instead. If it isn't a personal attack or a likely indirect one in perspective, there should be no point in standing around and crying over spilled milk. Though the fight itself looks tempting for people to vulture at, sometimes it would be better wisely said to pick and choose your own battles before you likely will be thrown into the crossfire itself, as a whole, something many would wish they had the day of regretting had they been under much of it themselves, even as of late.

Then you have the extremists; the childish, the negligent, and perhaps the annoyance breed by itself: trolls. People who love to troll around and make a complete and utter nightmare by ripping out people's thoughts in precision and diminishing them with their very own. Clearly, those are the type of people I'll admitting stand upon as pretty much going against, because their logic and their immaturity if I may place it in other words has no boundaries, honestly. You might as well have better said, they do enjoy this for a living, and its unbelievable why they even chose to be doing this in the first place. It has nearly no absolute good in purpose when conflicted towards the victims at all. That's where something needs to be done. Believe me, nobody would ever be alone if someone would pick on others simply for the delight of being a troll. It's often a sign of ill-given desire. There, something should be done about that situation, although pretty likely not every scenario comes and ends that way through a clear-cut victory, in a sense.
