So who else has seen Dead Man's Chest? I personally didn't think it was quite as
funny as the first one, but I thought the ending was amazing! (spoiler

Captain Barbossa is back. Who saw that one coming? And the whole Jack being
eaten by the Kraken (sp?) was a little cheesy, but dang!
What did you guys think of the movie? I know I can't wait for the next one.
It's hasen't been shown in Denmark yet, but I'm going to see it the 12th, and
I'm really excited, but I don't think that it's as good as the first one..
I can't believe I have to wait until friggin' AUGUST 13th before Dead Man's Chest plays in Hong Kong.... CURSE

robots, nevermind a single lowly Kraken! Hahah... But seriously, I thought the
film was bloody fantastic. Can't wait for the next!
Personally, even though it was entertaining, the movie was crap. Nothing in
regards to story was truly accomplished. It's a filler like Matrix Reloaded.

You were expecting maybe a sequel to rival the likes of GodFather 2? :P A
masterpiece of cinematic and intellectual genius? Come on! It's produced by
Jerry Bruckheimer who bought us "cinematic gems" such as Bad Boys II,
Black Hawk Down and Pearl Harbour (note the sarcasm ) Pirates of the Carribean is pure low-brow entertainment. Good fun for the
whole family.
I thought the movie was mediocre. Worth seeing, and Johnny Depp is both as
gorgeous and as good an actor as per usual. But still - too much attention paid
to the 'action' and visuals, and, in comparison to the first movie at least, a
distinct lack of witty comments. Still very funny in some parts, but on the
whole the movie was disappointingly (yet predictably) not up to the standards of
the original.
And without looking on movie pages for information it was pretty obvious that
there will be a sequel - there may as well have been a "to be
continued" at the end of the film.
Overall, the movie was disappointing. Had good action sequences and some humor,
as expected, but those scenes were too few. More than once I caught myself just
staring at the screen and not even paying attention.
I think the characters besides could've been fleshed out more.
OMG! That movie rocked ! i oved it , ohhh! i cant wait till the next one comes
out which might be next year......oh and , I CANT BELIEVE BARBOSSA IS BACK

Captian Jack Sparrow was sooo halrious in that movie ...or i mean jonny depp ,
omg...i feel so bad for that dog at the end .....hey did any of u guys stay to
watch the other ending clip?

I never had plans to see the second movie any time soon in the first place. My
friend wanted me to come along to see it at midnight and I was not disappointed.
I just like how there are more complex sides. It reminds me of the Halo story.
Any side can win or lose and the end is determined by who wins. Looking at
Disney's past movies (animated works and filmed works), I believe a happy ending
is most likely. The second movie sets up for what I think is going to be a
bigger conflict in the third movie. I plan to see the third one now once it
comes out.
I loved this movie. If theres anyone contemplating watching this movie, i
suggest going, its a bit drawn out, but i guarantee you'll be laughing your way
through half of it. Its just one of those light humored mvoies that come about
every so often.

(did you see the insanely long credits for the graphics?). And Johnny Depp
happens to be the greatest, so the movie was definitely worth seeing. =D I say
the movie was enjoyable.. I won't say what I thought about the ending, I think
I'll inadvertently spit out spoilers if I tried to.

Note: I have not seen Pirates 2 yet, but am really looking forward to it.
