Ok, i just wanted to know, lol. Have you ever gotten in trouble because anime/
manga? My friend did once when she brought Naruto vol. 1 with the sexy no jutsu
in it, lol. THe teacher had to confiscate it because it had "pornographic
images"
Have you people ever gotten in trouble because of anime/ manga?
Hmm...I dont think Ive ever gotten in too much trouble because of it...Ive
watched anime at 12 in the morning and had my dad tell me to turn down the
volume...Ive read Fruits Basket in school and was told to put it away....and
thats about it!
Well, it didn't happen to me, but my friend got in trouble once. She was reading
a yaoi book called Desire in class one day. And if you've ever read it, you know
that it's got some parts in it that aren't for kids...
Anyway, the teacher caught her reading and told her to show the class what she
was reading since it was so interesting that she wasn't paying attention in
class. Afterwards, he took it from her and looked through it. She got in trouble
when the teacher saw what was in the book. Not a good
thing to show a teacher... I bet he's traumatized! Poor
teacher... lol...
Ummm.. lemme think... okay I was working on my site (which is anime graphics
related) at night and it was late and my mom came downstairs and got mad at me
for staying up. Then sometimes my mom thinks I spend too much time drawing
anime. Yea, it happens ^^'' no financial trouble though, my parents pay for my
manga lol. And I'm not @_@ enough to read during class... xD
Yeah, my story is much in the vein of OriginalQueenofAnime's. My friend was
reading Sword Of The Dark Ones in chemistry last semester (a manga including
full frontal nudity!). The teacher picked it up and looked thru it. And Seth was
sitting there just mortified and sweating bullets! Dont think she did anything
to him other than give that condescending look and asked him 'do your parents
know you read things like this'. Hilarity!

Hehe! I have that book, but I hide it. I don't want to know what would happen if
a teacher or one of my parents looked through it
Still love it though <3

The
book that my friend was caught reading was actually mine. After she told me the
story, she gave me my book back. I was surprised that the teacher actually gave
it back though...then again, she never said he did... Knowing
her, I bet she just took it and ran out so I wouldn't get mad at her...
I don't have to hide mine... I just keep it in my bookcase with all my other
ones and it doesn't look outta place.

lol ^^ haha
I did bring a yaoi manga to school once. But being the only student label as
"Manga holic" the teacher ignored me while i was reading it ^^.
since my school is small its not a surprise that i can be let off by the
teachers ^^
haha i finish my homework mostly before the teacher starts on it, so i just pass
time by reading comics. thus they labeled me as "manga holic" ^^
haha
but there was some of the guys in my class who took a peek in the yaoi manga and
they were kinda green and red for the whole day, after that some of them kinda
ignored me for a week
a few did come up and ask whether they could borrow it haha ^^
pervs~
uhhh,.........himmm.........umm..............i dont know , wait
..............nope , i had never did,........wait.........umm...nope...sorry , i
dont think i did..........
I was reading Fruits Basket during a lesson in class and the teacher took it cuz
i couldnt put it down it was to good, but she gave it back to me ant the end of
the day.
OMG! Yes! I get in trouble both at school and at home.
At school:
I was reading my chobits manga vol 1 and i wasnt paying any attention to what
was going on. About 10 minutes later, i heard the teacher say, "ok class,
now were going to have a test" Just so u know I was prepared. So she handed
out our tests and she sat back down at her desk. But knowing me, I just kept on
reading my manga. I couldnt put the manga down. She asked me to put it away, but
I still ignored her. So, she send me to the dense office.
At home:
I was watching Gantz, and ths anime is rated R of unrated for its horific
graphics. A scene came on with a girl getting raped by a guy, and it
just-so-happens that my mom just walks by. She was like, "WTF is
this!?" And I knew right then and there that I was pretty much sc**d. She
told me to turn it off, but as she walked back up stairs to sleep, I just turned
it back on.
I went to Books-a-million the other day and they had a display of "graphic
novles", all of which were anime, on sale. I began to look through it and
they had Pokemon - Princess AI all in one bin. One novel had a girl being held
by tentacles on the front of it. I would have said something but the Anime shelf
is the same way, you just can't see the covers at first glance.
Oh yeah and once, I was watching Princess Mononoke, and my mom came in the room
just in time to see a bit of gore. It didn't bother me, I just told her hush so
I could watch my movie. But she was amazed at what I was watching.
I almost got into trouble because my teacher wanted to know what I was reading
for silent reading and it was Love Hina Volume 9 and I was really glad that she
skimmed and didn't see the little porno scenes. Oh but there was this one time
that I was reading a manga instead of studying for the test. Yeah good times.
Well, not that i can remember. But my dad thinks that I've been spending too
much time on the computer (watching anime ) so once,
he caught me watchign anime, and told me if I don't cut down he'll control my
internet time! Luckily he's a bit forgetfull, and I'm sly enough to hide my anime
when he comes around. =P
Haha my Mom hates me reading manga...she freaked when she saw one of the
Inuyasha volumes...she just happened to flip to the -one page- where Kagome was
taking a bath...*sigh*
But my mom's really strict about that sort of thing...she's the only one that's
ever made a fuss about what I read...She has this unique talent of finding
something wrong in every manga I have >...> Lucky me.
When I was younger my mother banned me from reading Shounen Jump because of all
the blood and violence in it...Now she can't do so because I'm old enough to
make my own decisions on what I read.

Only financial trouble. Conventions and figures are just too damn FUN! :P

-raises hand-
a bunch of times...and the last time was during the being of the school year...i think i was reading Kamichama Karen....><"...!
Well, I almost did. My teacher saw my Inuyasha drawings. Luckily she obviously had no clue what anime or manga was so I was spared.

So there ends my stupid story.
Maybe oncoe or twice because they thought I was watching too many cartoons/anime, but other than that, they don't care enough to question me about it.
Works just fine for me. They have their hobbies, I have mine. As simple as that, my MT friends.

Not that I can recall...
I've been watching anime during class. My teacher got mad at me
Pornographic images? Lol x3
