Torrent is cool. Good stuff out there.
I *much* prefer to use MIRC over Bittorrent. Off fast xdcc bots, I can get an
episode of anime in 5 to 10 minutes with mirc, at 250 to 400 Kbps. Smaller sub
groups, I have to use BT and that generally doesnt go faster than 100
Kbps.
Yep. At the moment is my best way to get anime, sometimes i use IRC to download
things that aren't seeded. I often buy anime, but I'm too poor to download the
OSTs so i use IRC and BT to download them, they're better source to get
music than soulseek =P
I've gotten a lot of fine, new anime off bittorrent. Negotiating on irc
channels has felt chaotic & forbidding to me, compared to the directness of
bittorrent. I try to leave my torrents up as long as possible to help other
fans.
Bittorent is great. I use it for anime, manga, OST, and hentai (aka
everything). Only thing is I'm back at school now and bittorent is SLOW AS
HELL. Never got into mIRC, but managed to find DD for several of the series I
like so I only end up with a small backlog when I go home.
As for me I use it for everything, even for downloading ebooks (yes, yes, some
people still read books :P ). Though I try not to download licensed stuff as far
as manga and anime is concerned - we don't have much of them anyway. I think I
can save up some money to buy my favourite mangas and DVDs, even if they're as
expensive as hell.

I guess I use both pretty equally.
I prefer DD links because I got slow connection and that's why bittorento doesn't work good for me

i download anime by bittorent because all news anime are on bittorent and it s good sofware
