there was recent worries about a flu manifesting that have cause a whole country
running away from people having fever or cold or flu(it may be exagerating but
it still have some truth in it..) a place in singapore has been let aside if flu
pandemic is to strike here..
although there isn't any important cases yet that is happening in Singapore,
people are already equipped with face mask and schools are asking students to
wear face mask...
well ever since the SARS epidemic, SE Asian countries are being extremely
cautious especially with the threat of bird flu. A lot of SEA cities (like Hong
Kong) have a huge population in a small area, which make them the number 1
locations for a mass disease epidemic.
There's been a few scares here in Hong Kong, including people getting food
poisoning, but I think the HK Government seems to be handling the situation
quite well. Should you wear face masks? Hell yeah, it's much better to be safe
than sorry.
I'm from an european country that delt with bird flu.I agree that it's better to
be safe than soory! I do not know haw much can the chinese Government keep this
under control, where there are big demographic centers It's bound to come up the
virus and lose it's control.
If masks are a way to prevent, I'm for , but there has to better ways to keep
the virus under controll.
first of all SEA is South East Asia....
