it's been awhile now ive been seeing a lot of wallpapers based on the whole i-pod theme, not just here on mt but all over the net it seems i cant visit a site without crossing a thumbnail of one, what im wondering is do you think it's here to stay or is it another fad? also do you find that it's beginning to get to you? because i speak for myself when i first saw them i thought wow that is pretty kool simple and the whole lot, now when i see them the words " damn another one?" o_0 keep running through my mind, maybe it's just me what are your opinions on this?

it's just a fad that is going around, it's being done cause its popular and "cool". How long it will last is anyones guess :p

Plus they arent that hard to make XP

well, I've seen them on devART for a while now (not wallpapers, but just drawings, and not just anime but people, animals etc). I've just started seeing them on MT. I think it's just a fad, but I don't really mind them. I'm curious as to who started the whole thing...

At first when I saw them I could see how clever they were, especially when they had other elements within the design (not just the black sillouhette, single coloured background and the pod itself- some had other things). Nowadays I really do think "not again", because it's getting quite repetitive. What's more, it's completely unoriginal now because it's just so common-

Another thing (it might just be me), but I cringe because of the lack of effort needed to produce one of those things (minus those with other things included in the design) - it's has just become "a picture" more than an idea in the work itself. It's a bit tedious because it's like mass production... it's not very interesting.

But I'm sure it'll continue on for a while yet. Then when people have got the idea that it's not quite possible to make an iPod image out of everything and anything, they'll slowly disappear eventually.
