I usually don't bother with this site anymore but I was pretty bored and noticed
how small the Ergo Proxy gallery is. Also it amazed me there are so few
wallpapers of the main Proxy himself.
Ah yes, one of the very reasons I gave up on this site; the idea that effort can
be perceived and has some bearing on whether or not something is artful.
But while we're at it, what filter do you all think I might have used? I don't
know which you might be thinking of.
I think the main reason it was deleted is because you never stated in your
description if you made it or not. If you haven't noticed like it seems so many
otheres haven't, we are in the midst of purging all non credited scans and
wallpapers, as you can read about here http://forum.minitokyo.net/findpost/1066009/
. If you do not specifically say you made this wallpaper, how do we know it's
not a rip.
even if you edit the discription, i suppose i cant stay in the main gallery
neither
i truly ask you, which part of this wall is your own-making ?
i see no effect here but a lil bit color and something....noise with a
whole-scan place in the wall. i suppose this must be a screenshot or ya extract
scan somewhere and then..nothing more.
furthermore, you dont need to upload your wallpaper to the main MT gallery, in
the sandbox will help ya to improve your skill since MT main gallery need to
have a limit of skill ^_^ you have to reach that limit and further
with a wall look like a screenshot(no i mustnt a wall *__*) you cannot upload
there. Though the ergo proxy gallery is so few, but it'll increase later ^_^,
with quality wallpaper not anything with ergo proxy scan/screenshot.

it really does seem too simple. it seems like a screen capture with a color
modification and filters. It is a nice concept however it does lack something
else. It can be pretty upsetting to have a wallpaper deleted however this should
just encourage you to better your wallpaper making skills.

that. That, and how some people are allowed to put to trash the work of others
because it isn't good enough according to subjective standards or doesn't abide
by some rules. In a way it's rude, or can be easily understood as such by people
whose work is rejected. Not the friendly atmosphere I like personally, reminds
me high-school or something.
Still, there are many skilled people here so it is a good place to learn and
improve, even by just reading the threads or looking at the work of others.

interesting and artistic. But the expectation at MT is that we, as graphic
artists, use the art of others as a medium of creative expression. The original
artwork can stand alone by virtue of being the professional work of an artist or
studio. OUR artwork borrows that of others; it CANNOT stand alone without a
clear stamp of our personal artistic ability. THAT is how effort is perceived,
acknowleged and lauded. I don't know what you did with this scan and you haven't
enlightened us to it. I DO know that whatever it was, it wasn't that
significant. Your artistic eye judged the work you did on this image to be
enough because the pic was cool, right? That doesn't showcase your abilities,
and doesn't bring any depth to the subject or the gallery. This looks like an
image that was resized to wallpaper dimensions with text added. That doesn't
make this art your own, and that is why it is not acceptible as a wallpaper
here. We DO have high standards and I have seen my fellow members meet and
exceed them time over time. It's possible for a simple wallpaper to maintain the
integrity of the original image and to still add to the acheivements of the
community.

That's not a filter nor simply added text. But good guesses!
Well, it /looks/ like an image that just has a filter over it and some added text.
