my first wall...any suggestions on how to do better are appreciated :)

Really good idea! This is a great first wall! My thoughts/concerns:

The characters in the top left are jagged. You need to blend them into the background. I suggest first using the blur tool then the color burn tool to make the edges fade in.

The character under the tree is alos jagged. He needs to stay crisp, so use the pen tool or polygon lasso tool to extract the rough areas so he's smooth.

The tree and the grass are too pixelated at the edges. Use the pen tool/polygon lasso to make more organic shapes, and use the grass brush to make realistic grass. Also, there are some ghosts of grass just above the horizon line.

Here's my most serious concern: ghosting. I personally think that this is more of a collage than ghosting because there is obviously a concept going on here. It's really interesting. I'm going have to leave the decision of whether or not it's illegal ghosting to the mods.

In the mean time, this is a fabulous first effor and it won't take much to clean it up!

I can see what's going on here, but as sailorchiron said, the jagged lines of the black figure under the tree have to be fixed up.
I'd personally get rid of the central faded image and the one in the top left hand corner. I'd keep the ones on the right (the two guys standing... I might get rid of the flying people), but even so, the ones on the right should be extracted much better and of better quality. For instance, the edges have been faded out probably by a soft edged eraser. I'd start from scratch, extract it properly so the edges are sharp enough- select the characters (use the magic wand), right click, feather. Feather it several times and experiement with different radii. The feather option makes the edges fade out a bit, but not so prominently.

The diagonal white line if possible should be set at like 2% or just gotten rid of, and on a new layer, select a dark blue, use a thick heavy brush and draw over where the diagonal line is, go to your filters> gaussian blur> 150 (or as you wish) and keep doing so until the blackish part on the left blends in more with the part on the right. If this 'blob' covers your tree and stuff, double click the layer and experiment with the first drop down menu: from normal to colour, or colour burn. Make sure the preview option is ticked and have some fun!

Last but not least I'd make the text a bit higher for those with desktop taskbars, and to also make the writing a bit smaller :)

Experiment, have fun and hope to see you post here with a revised version! ^^

Asthetically, its a bit crammed. Too many things going on at once. They are all spaced out too much, some placed in odd places, making it difficult to interprete what is going on in the image.

well updated the wall again this time i made the grass more realistic looking(im using ps 6 so i had to make my own grass brush) XD
version 1 no silhouette(http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/4660/moonlightscopytsacopy2xxcz3.th.jpg version 2 silhouettehttp://img65.imageshack.us/img65/2720/moonlightscopytsacopy2xcopyto8.th.jpg

ps: i kinda need help with blending the chars on the right into the background because i think they stand out to much but maybe im just crazy ^_^'

I think I perfer the one with the siloet out of the two here it looks a little more forlorn and goes well with the words It's a wonderful improvment from the first one.

This looks like a good start at a Naruto and Sasuke wallpaper. I'd clear out all the images and put an image of Naruto in the upper left corner and an image of Sasuke in the lower right corner. I'd also put a silohette (sp?) of Sasuke sitting on the other side of the tree from Naruto. I'd pull the moon to the left so that it divides across the line and integrate an image of Kakashi watching over Sasuke and Naruto or a better image of Naruto and Sasuke getting ready to battle or shaking hands.

i just remembered that i should post my wall here since ive changed it a bit

without flowers and chibi

which one do you think is better?

I prefer the non-chibi one but then again I've never been much of a fan of cutesy stuff. Its good that you added Sasuke and it balances the wall a little better.

I prefer the non-chibi one as well, because the chibis look out of place and doesn't fit with the darkness of the rest of the picture (when I think chibi, I think pink and purple and sparklies :D)

Also, I find the background too sharp and realistic compared to your silhouettes. Like the moon for example. It's a photograph and thus has way too much details and sharpness for the image. Try using the median filter (set at about 4-5), and smudge it a bit. Same with the leaves, they're way too realistic.

The text placement looks fine, but I'm not sure if that's the best font to use... it just looks kinda random.
