Teachers who shouldn't be teachers...
Who was/were the worst teacher(s) you've ever had? What did they teach? What did
they do that made them so terrible?
My teacher...Dr. Friedman... Biology 2 teacher....
The guy didn't know how to write a test. Mistakes were everywhere! The class
would spend over an hour debating with him about the tests and their scores
whenever we got our grades back. We would have to go into the book and point out
the answer to him to prove that he was wrong. Sometimes he accepted their
answers, sometimes he wouldn't and would make up his own. He would turn cherry
pink because he was so frustrated with everyone hounding on him and when he is
able to clearly see that he was wrong, suddenly, he's Mr. Niceguy. The guy
couldn't even re-adjust our grades correctly! He was lazy. He used the
textbook's website as notes. The TA's wrote the quizzes, graded the quizzes, and
did everything else. Basically, all he did was come to class to read out the
powerpoint slide to us and write the tests. He didn't know how to answer the
student's questions in class and would just come up with some stupid analogy
that didn't make any sense in an attempt to help.
One thing he said that totally cracked me up...
"What's a million? Ten to the sixth, ten to the ninth? I don't know, let's
just go with ten the to eighth, it's in the middle of six and nine."
I had this one teacher, and my god did she suck. She was teaching Political
Science 139, Dr. Bardabaran. She did her disertation on Korea, but yet, she's
teaching a class on "East Asian Political Development". The things she
taught on China, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, she didn't know jack
crap what she was talking about. A lot of the students had to basically end up
giving the lecture on the country they're from. I had to give one with a friend
on Japan. I mean... Come on...
Not to mention that her TAs sucked because They only know stuff on Korea and
they graded our final and midterm which was NOT on Korea. Her TAs were like
Koreans who only knew about Korea.
A tutor last semester that did not do any preparation before the labs. As a
result, the students are better than him at the lab... we blew up a capacitor by
switching the polarity even though tit was originally correct.
I've been blessed with good teachers for the last several years, for which I'm
truly happy and thankful for. However, in early Elementary school, we had a
rather rude/disrespectful principal who couldn't quite live up to the previous
one. One of the irritating things she'd done was, instead of hiring a new
teacher or something, she integrated a fourth grade class (mine) with a fifth
grade class, and the kids that she assumed wouldn't be able to keep up, she
placed into a totally new classroom, with a different teacher.
Additionally, she invaded personal space/lives. Thankfully, I'm not in
Elementary school anymore (H.S., now), but at the community college I might be
going to in the future, she teaches the subject I most want to major in! I'm
worried, now... .
mrs. ollmann >< lord why was i cursed with her as an ap english 3 teacher.
she was so condescending. she never gave us, her students, adequate feedback
when she handed back our essays. all it had was a grade and that was it. no
explianation on why we recieved the grade that we recieved. no telling us how to
improve. no nothing. the whole point of an ap course is to get ready for the ap
exams at the end of the year and without proper feedback how was anyone suppose
to do that. obvious, everyone that i talked to that had her as an ap teacher
failed the ap exam. what i want to know is how this women is department chair?
i probably sound so nerd-y right now but i am not that much of a nerd...
My Physics Lecturer... His trademark is.. " You Just simply do and you can
get the answer.." But the thing that strikes me is that he can't teach and
when a student ask a question, he say... "If you don't understand,
nevermind.. Just hope that it doesn't come out in the finals... " OMG...

My Standard 1 BM teacher. So what if I failed my test, she was so cruel as to
call me stupid infront of everyone and made everyone write "Jon adalah
budak bodoh" in their books as class work. She had perfectly no faith in
me. Man, I wanted to kill her but it has since passed me. Now, all my teachers
maybe stirict but i dont hate them, they're are very devoting ppl.
My worst teacher was Ms. Morse. She was an english teacher back when I was in
Junior High School. Her room reeked of cheap perfume (to which our class 'died'
breathing in every day nearer to summer) and she wore tight, slim outfits and
high heels (and for an old woman with a Cher hairstyle, it didn't look very
attractive). There were a lot of rumors about her and how she married an Arabian
prince and how she had a daughter named Mackenzie (her daughter, she talked
about herself). She was an ebay addict as well--she spent her time on the school
computer buying stuff while we read our books (which was the only thing she made
us do). She graded us based on one test out of one story that we read once but
never discussed. I will never forget her love for colored chalk and how she made
a cloud over every 'AIM' I ever saw on that blackboard....
worst teacher was mrs.lopez.. she once gave my whole class 2 demerits for bring
late in her class for like 5-10mins, sheesh! she's also bias to the other
students like giving some of them higher grades in essay just because their
essay's were longer. she also complains of how my writing isnt legible but when
i ask my classmates to read my handwriting they were able to read it but when i
see mrs.lopez write on the board or make comments on our test papers, i cant
even understand her handwriting!
Well, there was this one Religion teacher I had. She taught the same crap to
sixth, seventh and eight graders. She thought that you would go to hell for the
most rediculous reasons like wearing jeans to church. She always told us ahow
bad smoking and drinking was and you would go to hell if you do, and she smoke
and drank all the time.
well,our english teacher can be categorised under this section,she teaches
pygmalion and is a dead bore.some of her famous quotes r.."your head will
be beheaded"! and "eliza's 'teeths' were yellow u see!"the worst
comment she made was that prof Higgins was madly in ai with his mum!now this is
what we all call weird....!

Whats even funnier the principal was being hard on me while she was in the room
and then when she left the room He busted out laughing Wahaha it was too much me
and him left the office crying we where laughing so hard oooooo she hated us so
much.
She once put me in Lunch detention because I was bleeding haha yea
bleeding.
Mr. Tennant is the worst teacher I've had... reason why?: whenever i made a
small mistake in class, he would make fun of me in front of everyone to
make me look like a fool. To do this, he usually makes me read some shakespeare
literature out loud in class, and if i mispronounce any words, he'd emphasize
it, and tell me to repeat after him- like a second grader .
Another method that he chooses, is that he would find some words that would be
uncommon to use and asked me what it meant. He does this on a daily basis, so i
always hoped that I'd never get him as a teacher again. For the record.. he only
makes fun of me and not the other students.. don't know why
My tourism teacher! My friend and i did out assignments (our assessment is only
from out assessments) and we got Cs, and then ppl who didnt do their assignment
even got As! WTF! And my friend printed her assignment out for another girl and
the other girl got an A and my friend got a C!. So annoying ><!
My algebra II teacher. He was smart, but he didn\'t knew how to teach. We
didn\'t understood anything he said, the class was a total mess, many students
used to insult him, he didn\'t knew how make tests, he would start the class and
then talk about his personal life and then change the subject to a total
different thing. I didn\'t learn anything on that class.
My worst teacher was portillo he tought me termodinamic. He explains bad, he
don't teach things that then he asks in exams. If you go and ask him for books
to study for pass his exams, he will say you to look for them in the library( he
won't say you any title)
Pass his signatures is a hell.

She is annoying, no confidence at all, technologically inefficient, boring, bad
memory, ignorant...
