mine is maaya sakamoto, minami kuribayashi, and utada hikaru..
*correct me if im wrong since it's already late here.. -_-

"The pillows"

Ayumi Hamasaki should have that crown first.(but, that's my personal opinion)

Mikuni Shimokawa ( Full Metal Panic, Genso Maden Saiyuki)
Utada Hikaru ( Kingdom Hearts, ... )
Younha ( Bleach )

I like Saura(singer of "musouka" from utawarerumono) and Shimokawa Mikuni(singer of...all full metal panic music)

I have 2 favourites, one being Yui Horie and Utada Hikaru (GOGO UTADA!)

I like Yui Horie too, especially her school rumble songs.
Mamiko Noto is good too, Ashita no Te being my favourite of hers.
and there's Aya Hirano who you can't neglect. great VA, great singer.

i have to agree with maaya sakamoto san there... -_- <--has a maaya fetish.. >_<

NAMI TAMAKI
i love her.........great singer!

Maybe... Mikuni Shimokawa and Maaya Sakamoto.

Sakamoto-san's voice has kinda wide range, which enables her to sing many genres (well... something very different like 'Gravity' from Wolf's Rain to 'Hemisphere' from RahXephon, then 'Loop' from Tsubasa RC... she rocks :))

Shimokawa's voice isn't as beautiful as Sakamoto-san's -- however, she's got so many songs to fit in with her voice character (e.g. all the FMP songs, 'Kohaku' from Grenadier, 'All the Way' from Kino no Tabi... and, for the last, my fav 'Canaria' from her album 392 - Best Selection). :)

I think both of them have their own charms, though. :D

Nami Tamaki and Rie Tanaka.
their songs are nice.....

Megumi Hayashibara (shaman king)

Mikuni Shimokawa (FMP songs)

For me it's Utada Hikaru, Nami Tamaki and T.M. Revolution(his videos are cool except Hot Limit, he really looked gay video.)

TM Revolution! Hiro-X and Kimeru! I like V6 too.. haha.. actually.. I like lots of other songs from the other singers in other animes too.. haha

Maaya Sakamoto is great. My favourite Anime Song from her is definitely 'Kiseki no Umi' (Record of Lodoss War). I like also Minami Kuribayashi (Chrno Crusade, Kimi ga Nozumo Eien, Mai-HiME) and Younha. Younha's Album is really great. I hope there will be a second >.<

Well, first of all, it's Yuki Kajiura - all of her songs are awesome ! Kawabe Chieco & Last Alliance, with opening & ending to Ouran High school Host club just make me cry >_<

Chieko Kawabe, Shimokawa Mikuni, Angela Aki, Nakashima Mika, FLOW

Maaya Sakamoto, Tanaka Rie, Horie Rie, Utada Hikaru

I like Koda Kumi the best :)

KOTOKO. personally, i like the people who belong in the "I've sound" group, includes some singers like Mami Kawada, MELL, MOMO, Lia. they're genre of singing is eurotrance ^__^. i like the way they sing...but KOTOKO is my favorite.
I also adore UVERworld and YUI.

Ayumi Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru & Koda Kumi :)

Yoko Kanno

I've Sound is true otaku music..and it's damn good. The best singers? Difficult to choose...KOTOKO is the obvious, popular one, but my current favorites are Lia and Ayana. Of course, I like all the girls!

I'm a fan of Ayumi Hamasaki, but I like her music overall, not her anime songs in particular (she did, what, 2 anime songs?). I'm also gonna say the pillows, even though most of their anime music is the BGM for FLCL (I'm not including BGM).

Some other artists I find are consistently good include Maaya Sakamoto and FLOW.

A lot of you are mentioning Utada Hikaru..what anime song(s) did she do?

Eh. YUI, Youhna, Uverworld, Beat Crusaders, to name a few :)

I dont tend to listen to "anime music" artists. I listen to lots of asian music that doesnt appear in animes :P ELLEGARDEN ftw :)
