well, i know its hard to believ that a teacher can be a very good friend of you
Has it ever happen to you?
during the middle school there was a teacher taht i used to hated because she
saw me hugging my boyfriend and she took me to the principals office.
the next grade i noticed that she was my english teacher i did everything to
bother her. one day i was crying because my mother told that i was garbage (with
other words) and she hug me and told me thatit was not true. since that moment
the confidence grew between us and now we are very close friends.
mine is,im juz friendly to the tchers. like we are supposed to bow to them,i juz
waved...haha. its good being friends with a tcher...u can tell them your
problems instead of your parents....=x
When I was in school, sure, my teachers became friends.
Normally I stay after school and do woodwork and our sir was very nice and
friendly. Loves to make jokes.
thats nice of her ^^ one of mai teachers is mai frien too ^^ hes really cool an
our whole klass likes to tease him an all of us are good friens ^^
m.i.a. ^^
Yes actually! My teachers name was Mr. Nordstom. He was very cool! He was my 8th
grade Science teacher. He was realy fun to talk with. You can talk to him about
anything and he would always understand you. He was kind of like a sychiatrist.
(i think i spelled that wrong )
ahha you know teachers are also living human beings .. as
you grow older you find that communicating with teachers is easier then you
thought years ago.. you might even find yourself going for coffee together or
even catching the latest tournament in town together ....
and about your case your teacher obviously have a caring heart... the reason of
sending you to the office is she does not want you to be carried away with the
relationship you have with your boyfriend
a real friend is someone who stands up for what is right for you and is there
whenever you are feeling down count
yourself lucky
I'm very close to my high school band teacher. I don't consider us friends --
though we probably are -- I still consider myself to be his student, and I kinda
consider him to be a second father to me. He's an awesome guy, full of advice,
ready to help when needed, and he's the best teacher I've ever had because he
helped me realize the potential I have to be good at anything -- that is what a true friend does.
One of my teacher is my friend only because she's my mom's friend, and has been
teaching me since I was "wee" high. She also taught me Japanese, which
I entirely forgot, and is very cool with me. She recently tried to hook me up
with her neice, which resulted in a long distance relationship that she seems
very pleased with herself about. I think she originally wanted me to date her
daughter though...
Although not as much recently, I still keep in contact with her.
I used to think it was impossible to become friends with a teacher, except this
year, a new studio arts teacher came, who is obsessed with anything anime. I got
on with her before I even knew her name. She so cool. Her name is Ms. Sipos. She
even bought my friend two chii posters and a freya keyring for her birthday. She
said that whoever is in her home groups gets a birthday present and its my
birthday in a month. I wonder what she'll get me?
Haha yea I have a teach thats a friend shes my enlish teacher as well
^_^.
Everyone in school hates her but me haha I love her shes just so funny.
Shes always helping me on my work. Shes just a really nice teacher. Where always
joking togeather and stuff and everyone Hates me for it Haha.
But yea I belive you can have a teacher friend I don't see whats wrong or
unbeleiveable about it I mean teachers are Human like the rest of us They have
lifes and familys and friends also lol I know hard to believe ^_~.
Hee..yeah..thats normal...I can say one of my best friends is a teacher...and
she is my english teacher too, I like to talk with her, cuz somehow she
understand me, and I understand her...She often told me things about other
teachers (I really don't like that but well...)
It is really possible this things to happen, is perfectly normal....
My art teacher and I are extremely close, she's soooo awesome,
we talk alot and stuff, we always talked about vintage music and other things we
have in common
My 9th grade English teacher and I were close. ^^ He was amazingly funny and his
class was one of those where you really had to think to pass. It wasn't all
about writing or reading, it was about knowing and understanding. But, even though it was hard, he made it fun. He
was also my debate coach, so we got to hang out and talk alot, afterschool, too.
yh...actually i still have him as a teacher now...he is my ICT teacher called mr
mack...he is the coolest teacher ive ever had...he lends me and my sisters his
imac and his ipod and his DS...hes sooo cool! he even buys us mcdonalads if we
stay after skool...hes really cool...anyone who has him for a teacher is soooo
lucky!
I used to have a nice teacher in 8th grade and he really acted like one of the
students. Then I had him again in 10th grade (he transfered into high school)
but I had to transfer to another class about halfway through. =_=
It might be a bit different, but my boss (who is a professor and whose classes I
ran a while ago) is a very nice guy and we get along. He's not a friend that I'd
invite him to a weekend of sin debauchery (as if!) but while on the job we can
joke and talk serious altogether (given I'm post-grad - its easier to make
friends with adults when you're older).
At school I played rugby and every year's coach basically took it upon
themselves to have a better relationship with the players. Nice guys who you
could get along with. A few other guys as well. My computer science teacher was
a fun guy, and my history teacher was just so likeable (in spite of his best
efforts).
The teachers are humans so everything is posible. I haven´t got any
teacher that be a close friend, but when i found them in the street they ask me
about what i do? (study, work,..)
Well, i wouldn't call it friendship (that's when you actually DO something with
each oher in your free time etc.) but i had a few *buddy teachers* when i went
to school (11.-13. grade that is). These where i.e. my english teacher who was
unprofessional, really, but a cool person.
I feel kinda like a snoop as i am almost a teacher myself (i am in my second
year of studying, still 2,5 more to go), weired if think about the fact that it
is only two years ago that i was a student myself. well, i still am, but a
university student which is slightly different. i am already teaching on some
occasions etc.
but as it seems that art teachers are favoured by students i should be lucky, i
suppose :P. My second subject is english by the way.
in university we are taught to change from the student's point of view to the
one of a teacher, which is hard to do. but keep in mind that teachers know how
it is to be a student, which means they know most of your problems but also your
tricks (sorry). those who are mean bastards (am i allowed to say bast***?)
either have a rotten character or seek revenge.
and i got to say this, some of the stuff being taught is as boring for the
teacher as it is to you (talking about poetry in my case :P) but its on the
shedule and that's something a teacher can't avoid sadly.

I used to have a history teacher who was really nice. After he left the school, we still talked. Wonderful teacher.

Never happened with me i don't look at teachers as friends. to me their just people whose teach me things i already knew.
