I just wanna see what peoples answer to this question is ^^. Personally I dont
know why i like anime so much, but once I started watching some series, I really
couldnt stop seeing them :P Please share your opinions ^^
Well... I guess I haven't really thought about it... I just do?
But maybe because it combines the only things I loved before I found anime
(well, for me, it's really more manga)...drawing and reading. And because there
are just some really good manga out there... I mean, manga as a
"whole" isn't what I like (OK, I do, but...) but rather, more than
that, I get attached to particular series that I love (right now it's Angel
Sanctuary, but I'm also still into Bleach, and before that it was Death Note).
Hmm... *thinks some more*...well, I've always had a thing for three-dimensional
characters, antagonists with motives, antiheroes, and, yes, angst. And manga
seems to use those a lot more than just regular books, which often make things
more clear-cut. Also, a good book is "sophisticated literature", but a
good manga is... a lot of emotion and action and beautiful people. I like
emotional stuff, and I found an emotional connection with a lot of
manga.
It also is due in no small part to the fact that I didn't really have any
passions, or a life, or anything, before I found anime and manga, but then when
my friend handed me the first volue of Inuyasha (I was 10, all right...?)
something "clicked". And I read more Inuyasha, and I became
obsessed... and then I found other, better series, and, voila, you have a
passion. I think most things are really that simple.... it just sort of
"happens".
the art , the special effects (SPLIT SCREEN IS TITE!), the character designs
(they made spiky hair look cool) and most of all ..............PLOT AND
ORIGINALITY ( other productions (especially hollywood) made pics which were 2
cliche, bt japan brought a whole new spin on things
