"Escaflowne"

Slipping by the crimson
liquid drops
past my sight
and a path ahead.

I trip and fall
trying to take hold
of them floating hearts
with my foolish hands.

I trip and fall
colliding unconscious
snapping my thoughts
half exposed.

stiff thoughts
drip over talks
filtrating through holes
of your brain console.

I reach to the stars
without looking down
but my legs aim on
forever down the abyss.

I dont understand what you are talking about in this poem... maybe that's the key that's missing in my brain... the lack of knowledge is knowledge in itself. Please explain to me your wisdom ohh great crimson abyss of the stars. lolz jk jk

Did you just finish watching some anime and think to yourself, it's so profound that you had to write a poem that reflected your own interpretation?

I'm guessing it has something to do with the Escaflowne anime, most likely a specific scene, but I don't remember much from that anime since I saw it over 6 years ago (i think it was 6 years ago). It sounds interesting but I can't make out anything out of it. Sorry

it reminds me of hitomi when she goes to back to earth or still at gaea and she is thinking about van/allen, but she's lost in her thoughts can she's tryin to call out to van so he could come..idk...but thats what i got..and it was really wonderful too, because i was mezmorized by ur poem!

Thanks (hitomi) is not exacly about the movie but when I thought about a title that one seem to fit perfectly.
