Hi everybody,

I am unsure if this is the correct place to ask, I apologise in advance if it isn't. :sweat:

I have a dual-display setup in my office (2048x768) and I was looking for some nice wallpapers for it. Does anybody know if there are any multi-display wallpapers here in Minitokyo? I have found some nice ones on the net, but I haven't had much luck with Anime ones (and sadly they tend to put the main focus of the wallpaper exactly in the middle, so it invariably get's split between both screens :\ ).

Many thanks!

Well sad to say yours is rather weird so there isnt a dual display wallpaper here... but i believe you can adjust the wallpaper to suit your need ;) well to tell you the truth i doubt you find much anime wallpaper to your criteria anywhere cause your screen resolution is rather rare type..

I beg to differ. MT supports several dualscreen resolutions:

Dual-screen Resolutions

* 2304x864
* 2048x768
* 2560x960
* 2560x1024
* 4096x1536

Finding the designers is far more difficult.
Most people don't use multimonitor resolutions, and most people create wallpapers in the resolution they use (or are most common, which essentially are 4x3 and 5x4 with a smattering of 16x10.)
There may be a few others in the galleries but finding them will be the old 'needle in a haystack' trick.

Not strange at all. I run a dual screen setup myself. Depending on your video card, you can configure 2 different wallpapers for each screen. If you have an Nvidia graphics card, a built in utility is nView, which allows you to configure it as such. I am unsure for ATI cards (a utility called hydravision may help), but if worse comes to worse you can just stitch together 2 wallpapers you want to use with photoshop and use that.

Sadly, my laptop (yes, I am bold enough to run my laptop on dual screens) has an ATI card and will not let me put two different wallpapers on each screen. It either has to be a multi-screen wallpaper (hint, use tile instead of stretch or center for it to span to both screens), or the same standard size wallpaper on each screen. And yeah, I had already figured out the stitching of two wallpapers trick, but it's always nicer when you have a single wallpaper stretching over many displays (I like it when people ask, "Wow! How did you do that!").

And for my next trick I think I will put one of my monitors sideways (if you have a large enough resolution, it is the best way to browse the net and view/compose word documents). Anyways, I'm going off topic, so I'll shut up now :x (sorry Mr. Moderator!).

Pretty please, if any artists have created some nice dual display wallpapers, please let me know!

It took me TWO WEEKS to figure that out :sweat:
I have a dual mon setup at work, but I've only made a few dualscreen walls, and only 1 of them anime related. Do you have any series or styles you like in particular? I may add to my "walls I'd like to do" list.
Also, Nuniko has a Yoshitaka Amano dualscreen wall and Dhias has a dualscreen Gundam wallpaper
Another place w/dualscreen walls I found when tracking down Dhias' wall:
Karmaburn

If I'm not mistaken, group Ilvalthia has some members who have made wallies for double or more monitors. I would go there and also you should try looking for IRIX

Cheers mate
