I have been wondering if there is anyone who likes watch old anime shows. Like from 1980's to 2000's I know that everybody is still waiting for new ones coming. But

I just want to know if there is anyone.

I still have like Slam Dunk 1993 and Robotech 1985

i'd call anything old if its from about '98 or older anything after that its still relatively new

I may watch older anime sometimes, but really the oldest thing i have in my collection is El Hazard: Magnificent world, that was made back in '97 or so (talking about legit stuff here ;))

I like a lot of the older titles (late 80's, early 90's) better for the most part. I prefer the hand colored animation (as opposed to colored in computers), and nothing beats the music (especially 80's anime jrock, ie BGC!)

Dragon ball z forever!

Dragon ball z forever!

I watch the oldies from time to time. Maison Ikkoku and Kimagure Orange Road are just a few examples I never got tired of watching. And just recently, I got back to watching Bubblegum Crisis, which has lots of vocal songs that I still love to hear.

Hmm, I wouldn't say as old as the 80's.
But I still like old anime like Evangelion, Lain and Cowboy Bebop.
May be others, can't recall them right now.
Nothing is wrong with old anime, some of them have better stories than today's anime.

Astroboy... anyone? XD

I watch the oldies for nostalgia's sake (and yes, Evangelion will always be a favourite no matter how old it gets. As will Cowboy Bebop). But for the last couple of years animation of anime has been getting more and more important, so the older stuff that I haven't watched I probably never will, since unless its already a favourite I can't get into an anime unless the animation appeals.

Well having been only into anime for a bit over a year, to ignore all the older shows would be a bit silly. I'm a believer that classic never dies, so my anime schedule has old as well as new.

iam watching currently urusei yatsura (1981-85) i like such series.
I like anime and i dont care how old they are if the story interests me.

yeah i like watching anime from whatever time its from, as long as its good you know.

I definitely watch Captain Tsubasa! It's a classic! Even though Tsubasa's nearly a Gary Stu or something-- it's still is a golden show............ must watch.......

I still watch Ranma 1/2 it's one of my favorites!
I wonder no one appreciates them that much anymore.

Yu Yu Hakusho and Dragonball.

i was pondering about this the other day and i must say that my conclusion is messed up! ok i like it but i dont , see certian things are good like inu yasha and others! but then certian thing are shit really shit see i need a hectic story with old anime since the drawing style is so old

I love Slam Dunk. I can't remember if its before 2000, but I also really like Card Captor Sakura. Nothing really old for me though, although I am tempted to buy that boxset of the old Ah My Goddess DVDs I saw on Amazon, based on my liking of the new series.

I like Weiss Kreuz because I really like the story.

me, =0 only if its good, so like... ranma1/2. saber marionette j.... uhh tenchi muyo.... macross original XD.... a few others

I do but not all old animes.

Harlock Saga all the way! Leiji Matsumoto is a genius.

yea, i like watching old anime even though you probably know the storyline, but its still fun to watch it over again

me, DBZ 4ever (:

i like to watch old anime shows, such as Kimagure Orange Road, El Hazard (my personal favorite), outlaw star, ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon!

I like Dragon Ball (especially Z), Gundam Wing, GaoGaiGar, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Tekkaman Blade, Ninja Senshi Tobikage and others I don't remember... but as long as I can watch anime from today, everything's alright, I hate people who just like things from their times...
