We are currently setting up a secondary download line to double the download speed.

I am wondering about the download speeds for various parts of the world. So if you have a spare moment and know how to see the download speed of your Minitokyo downloads, you can post your country (and coast for us) + the avg. speed.

Also, is it already faster than before?

Well ever since the 4 days shut-down I've noticed that downloads have been faster (if that's what you're asking) oh and I'm from Finland and download speed is around.... 10-30 seconds?

i kept wondering for days why on earth is the download speed zooms that fast (around 20 seconds). i thought it's my computer factor after clearing some blocks.

It is considerably faster than it was before. I notice that yesterday when I was looking at the new submissions.

US/California is getting between 20kb/s and 24kb/s average. Excellent work

Im from Mexico and my download is usually around 1kbp-6kbp tops. takes around 15 seconds to download 500Kbps

I'm in the UK and my average speed is around 10kb/s
but it speeds up when there is more to download.
I've had speeds of almost 30kb/s so far.

It usually varies around New Zealand with internet connection as I've got, but I'll just check. Mind you, it was pretty good a few days ago when the speed dropped down to about 10kbs initially then gradually went up to around 20-30kbs depending on the size of the files (it never went up high enough because the files weren't large enough. lol).

So.. at the mo... *looks for a large scan to leech*

First scan I tried downloading, the speed was up at 18kb/s, then the second scan was at 50kb/s, and the one I just tried was up at 180kb/s (and still going up!) @_@

It seems to vary a lot, but average around 20-40kb/s, I think...

The internet here sucks. It has only 0.1 kbps - 4 kbps. Heh, i guess they're not active at time...

It really has improved here in Malaysia. From 4kbps to a max of 15 kbps but the average is about 12kbps.

Kinda varies here in Canada (I use cable internet), takes around like 12KBs per second.

it's improved here around the US/Arkansas area. I don't kno the exact speed tho.

in singapore the downloads is like nearly 30kps everytime

I'm in Italy and can download up to 4.5 with my dial up
With the latest upgrades I can surf on MT way faster than before so thanx Mr.Admin for all your efforts

i didnt set the download to be appeared when i download something but it should be really fast now , 3~5 sec for a scan ^_^, echh have just checked it.... incredibly amazing, vary around 20~80

It's around 16 kb/s up to 25 kb/s.. depends on the time of day..

I'm from Indonesia, and using broadband connection. I downloaded 217Kb in 8 secs; after that 270Kb in around the same time -- I'd presume that it ranges from 25 to 30 kbps.

well, mine is usually fast, except for the fact that i'm always downloading some kind of anime at any one time, so that means it could be faster but its still fast enough nevertheless

Yeah, it is much faster than it was before. Usually it takes me a while to get a scan around 40 secs to around 2 minutes but now it is much faster with some average scan only in about 10 secs! Thanks a lot!
