Are you? If so, what are you going to be? Or do you think you are too old for
it? If you have stopped dressing up for it, what age did you stop dressing
up?

I am 13 and I still dress up, that's due to the fact that I take my little
sister Erika trick-or-treating. I chose to be gothic this year, I am sitting in
my costume right now. ^^

I'm not sure where to put this thread but I put it here since I figured it had
to do with fashion and people's opinions of when it's too old to dress-up.
well i dont do fashion but seeing is how your on my FL i'll post.
i dont trick or treat anymore. that stoped 5 years ago. i do put on a mask and
black clothes then do one of 2 (or sometimes both) get an old chainsaw that
still runs but dosent have the chain and just go around scaring the crap out of
people or load my compressed air egg cannon on the back of a truck then to drive
by eggings. haha
Well, I stopped dressing up at about fourth grade, since a close friend, who was
older, decided that he was too old. Wanting to see more mature, I didn't go
trick-or-treating that year, and never went again. But, on the bright side, I
have never really dressed up for Halloween. So yeah, I was a kind of a pathetic
loser who just asked for candy. But hey! Who cares? FREE CANDY!
ooooh... i have not dressed up for halloween in about... 7-8 years ago? I
stopped dressing up because i thought i was getting a little too old to do it.
Also the fact that all the people were giving me crappy candy was also another
factor. I also thought at the time that it would be more fun to go around in
crappy clothes with shaving cream and eggs, but that's all in the past now. I
don't do much for halloween other than give kids who come by candy(if i'm in
town) and just stay put in the house.
lol I'm not going to this year... I'm 14yrs old, a bit old for trick or
treating... and as for dressing up, I might go as a private schoolgirl, just so
I can get bonus marks from my teachers for dressing up xD
i dress up, yes. But i dont trick-or-treat. What i do is hide, and then scare
the living hell out of little kids, and even adults and teens! Its so fun! I've
also got amazingly great and scary decorations, which makes my house hands down
the scariest house in my neighborhood during halloween. Its on everyones must
visit list.
I'm gonna accompany my sister to go trick or treating. She's six, so I have to
be with her. I eat some candy from the trick or treating, especially the sour
ones. Their really good! As for dressing up, I'm gonna be myself! Cool costume
eh?

Oh yeh, i'd be scared as hell if i saw you coming down the street at 10oclock at
night. (lol, jking)
I dunno what I'm gonna dress up as. Last year I was a butt pirate. I think this
year I'm gonna buy some high rank military clothes and have a surgical mask and
a saw adn dress up as the Surgeon General.
Well, Halloween is an American holiday. Here in panama, used to live lots of
Americans, back when the canal was under their care. Since my dad had a friend
who was an ex-militar, he would always invite us to the American colonies on
Halloween so I guess I was lucky to know what Halloween is.
Now the Americans are gone and I'm 23, but Halloween is still my favorite
holiday, even if I don't ask for candy anymore, I still dress up, usually
pilling up the clothes in my closet and inventing myself a costume even if I'm
not going out.
Why? b/c Halloween is the only date on which I can dress the way I like without
having to answer stupid questions and comments like "you look like
crazy" or "where's the costume party"
¬__¬
Well, I don't like to dress in Halloween. As an american tradition, in Spain we
don't have the habit, not in this time of the year. We usually custom on
Carnival though I don't like too much.
Anyway, Halloween is a singular day and it's really nice that the children could
go around their ward asking "trick or treat", it's really cute.
I don't trick or treat anymore. but I definatly still dress up and go to
party's. I'm 26 and I love to get together with friends and see what costumes we
come up with. especially since i have some hot female friends that like to dress
up 0_0! I think this year I will go as a ninja. Cause everyone knows that
Ninja's are better than Pirates! hehe.
I'm dressing up as Yuffie (advent children version)
I still haven't started working on my costume yet zomg... it's freakin' october
already... ::panic::
I still trick-or-treat and plan to until after college, so that's at least 7
more years. ^_^
Yeah im in highshool and still dress up! yeah its fun... along as you do a good
job. And the older you get, the later you can stay out and collect
*coughstealcough* candy.
Not sure what im gonna be this year tho... I was a ninja last year, i was
thinking of being Ichigo, and then making his hollow mask too and wearing that.
My girlfriends being Halloween town Sora (frm kingdom hearts). Cool huh!
im 14 and i stopped when i was 12. but i still take my neices and watch them get
scared at the houses. plus, i just eat the candy we have at our house =P
Oh! in Portugal we dont have this costume, is the same at spain.Only in carnaval
we dress it ... but sometimes in portugal in some discos make partys about it in
the day there is ,in the 29 to 30 of october,... we only dont make trick or
tread...^_^.
Every Halloween I dress up and pass out candy! It is usually some pretty lame
costume but I still think it is fun. 4 years ago my favorite Uncle that I was
really close to died of brain tumors. While he was very sick he kept on saying
that he just wanted to last until Halloween. It was his favorite holiday and he
was so excited. At that point he was in a wheelchair so he wanted to dress up as
a ghost since that would be easiest for him. Everything was prepared and ready
for Halloween. Sadly the morning of October 30th he went into a coma and died
later that day. Since then I have always made Halloween a big deal in honor of
my Uncle.
Plus I love seeing cute little kids in their costumes!
RIP Uncle Curt!
i might dress up when people come to the door or for the halloween thing at
church but im kind of thinking im too old for it because im 18and yet i want too
wear my renaissance outfit since i dont wear it much
I stopped celebrating Halloween back in elementary. I'll dress up if only if
only someone invited me to do it otherwise i'll just sit on my lazy but doing
daily things.

My fiancee and I are going to a costume shop next week to see if they have anything we want... We haven't decided on a theme for this year yet.
I'm going to try to convince my mom to make me a simple black dress and go as a witch. But if not...I'm not wearing one. I've always wanted a costume.

Yeah, you better be Sunspots. Especially with my hair spiked up like a warrior in anime. REAL SCARY! BETTER WATCH OUT!

I think I'm way too old for that now, currently 17. I stopped dressing up when I was in 7th grade. It feels weird going trick-or-treating at this age.
i don't think so...cuz i'm the one who must give sweets to children...^_^
