Put him in a US federal penitentary general population and tell the prisoners that he is free game but they can't kill him.

Um I hope thats sarcasm, because if it is not I really wonder how much you know about this man. They provided evidence in court of his activities before, during, and after the first gulf war and prior to the second war. A benevolent dictator this man was not. A man interested in his own security and wealth and caring very little for the country Iraq he was. His own people (most of Iraq's general population) want him dead. The Arab world pretty much turned their back on him after he proved how much of a coward he was.

punishment for saddam? i think they should force saddam into watching all the episodes of teletubbies and Barney the dinosaur( and other horrible children shows like bananas in pajamas) every day for the rest of his life... or how about dressing him as a girl and tossing him in a pit of crazy rapist in prison?
i mean common, death is final, it is the easy way out for him... i think he must suffer first before that final release....

Not to take this too off topic, but I don't like how some people are reacting to Saddam's declared execution. It's one thing to discuss his death, but it's another to make jokes about it. Just because he deserves to die doesn't mean we should take the fact that a man is going to die so lightly. In my opinion, any death, even if it is that of an evil dictator like Hussein, should be handled with at least some degree of dignity.

Stick him to a wall and let the recruits show there accuracy by firing right next to a limb and than let him should in his legs, than arms and than a short burst in the head.
