After months of waiting it's finally here!
On November 8th, Nvidia launch it's next gen of GPUs
based on their G80 process, with support for
Microsoft's DirectX 10, Shader model 4.0, Quantum Physics, and Lumenex
engine as well as other enhancements, this card should bring PC
gaming to a whole new level.
To kick off the launch Nvidia launch flagship product
the 8800gtx and it's sibling the 8800gts.
PNY's 8800gtx
Adrianne Curry the model for the G80 gpus.
BTW this image is power by the G80 cards themselves.
How much improvement does this card give as compare to it's predecessors?
Ohh how about playing Obvilion running at 2048x1536 with all the bells and
whistles
and still get over 30fps?
I saw this card and I fell over drooling. Problem is, the pricetag is out of my
reach for the moment, but it IS a really big step-up over the 7900 series and
will probably last for a year before running into the mid-range
category.
I'm only concerened about heat problems, as my current ATI 1750 already has a
host of heating problems. Maybe it's because I'm an a tropical country. Either
way, I'll definitely need to get an upgrade on my power supply. Agh. So many
things need upgrading before I can even use that card.

Yeah... if you have a 8ghz machine . They used a 5200+ with '10 gig' of ram :p 10000 rpm HDD. But... I guess if
you can afford that card, you would have enough cash for the rest.
The only thing that cheers me up... 7900gtx = cheaper
