she is more like the kind of girl I like inr real life.
She have to be funny, strong, loving, cute, and another couples of things.

lose interest in real girls, but there are of course cases where a fetish can
become so strong that it takes over ones life. But these cases are really rare,

I am unable to compare them, I don't compare them. I don't understand how anime
girls would become a substitute for all the girls around me everyday. I can't
interact with anime girls in a human way, ask me the day you can buy female
androids and I may have a different answer.
Anime girls are like paintings of flowers, they may be draw without flaws and
are therefore nice to look at, but unlike real flowers they can only be
experienced with your eyes. They can't be touched, tasted, or smelled and
reagardless of how much you fantasize, they will never exist outside of your
screen or mind.

girls are not perfect and all that! But hey! That's where the fun is! I do know
that there are people out there who would prefer anime girls to real girls.
Only reason I am for the most part is because I can't get a girl in real life.

girls. all people in anime are better than real people because they are
fictional. they are made to be attractive and their flaws and personalities are
simplified. its way easier to understand them. i don't think this person's love
of anime should affect his feelings for you. that said, things between you still
might not work, it just probably isn't anime's fault if it doesn't. i wish you

Being obssessed with not-real characters to the exclusion of real people sounds
more like something they depict/explore in anime (like the teenage boy with a
computer program gf in Boogiepop Phantom) than what really happens in life, most
of the time.

character, but there is always a line where infatuation can lead to disturbing
problems. If a guy can clearly see that line between reality and fantasy (most
