knowing which is the preffer sport for MTers
I like football(soccer)
I agree, football as we formely known as Europeans like to call it and places all
around the world, accept the U.S.,they call it soccer. What is that? I'm mean the
game is played with your feet mostly, that's the whole point of calling it
football. They call a sport football, using your hands and running, that's lame.
No offense to nobody,I mean I like football aswell in the U.S.,and rugby too and
all the other sports also. It's just so lame and stupid, that they would call it
soccer.
I find it funny that a lot of Americans (myself included) find soccer to be kind
of boring, while the rest of the world thinks American football is boring. I
guess we're just rebels. Rebels who like to be able to get a soda without
missing what may be the only point scored in the game. Ah well, baseball's
better than both of them anyway. Go Mets!
As a world game, probably football... or as the other half of Australia would
call it: soccer (like the Americans)... it's a matter of much debate over here,
but most who enjoy the sport call it football.
For me personally: World Rally, or rally in general. That is just awesome to
watch, of all time it would be Group B rally; motorsport so dangerous it was
banned for killing too many people. It only lasted three years, this was the
early 80's and they were wringing 500bhp plus from little 4-cylinder engines,
and there was talk of a Lancia Delta S4 with 1000bhp on the cards before the
Group was scratched.
For relaxing: Cricket. The sport you watch whilst doing something else! :P
My favorite sport to be active in is Rowing (also called Crew). Remember
athletes row everyone else just plays games
My favorite sport to watch is the martial arts
Soccer is one of the most popular sport in the world. Americans already use
football as the name for their own popular sport. For myself, personally, I like
to watch gymnastics. I consider the athlete as modern ninjas.
Is "racing against time to complete a 2000 word lab report while running on
sugar and caffiene" considered a sport? DD *bounces
off to start on lab report with 6 hours left to go*
If that's not considered a sport, then I think I like badminton best.
