Yep. That's right. µTorrent is not finishing my downloads!
Right now my computer is picking up a swarm of 33813 seeds and 8293 peers, yet it just won't connect to any single seed. The same thing happened while downloading another torrent that had 300 seeds AFAIR.

What's wrong with my client? :\

if you can't connect to any seeders, i think it's because the tracker isn't working. just wait and have patience with it. also check the ports, which your bit torrent client uses, if they're still open.

The seed to peer count sounds very suspicious. I almost suspect that some people may be fake seeding that torrent in an effort to tie up people.

Torrents normally have a seed-to-peer ratio of about 20% (more on private trackers). However, 400% is just ludicrous, especially considering the number. I would check to see if the torrent is legitimate.

This also reminds me of a similar situation my friend ran into. It was the same thing with an insane number of seeds, however, the files had a virus/trojan in them.

Beware.

Well... I've seen something like that when a new episode of Bleach is up for download.

Anyway, try Force Re-Check on the torrent. Stop the torrent and right click and select Force-Recheck.

This could also be the torrent maker's fault.

The virus/trojan might also explains this situation as stated above. The antivirus might keep deleting the virus in the torrent thus making it not possible to download the whole torrent. In this case if only a couple of files out of hundreds is infected, you can just ignore them and use the rest.

I would have to say that the torrent is probably a fake as I've heard on one other torrent site that the number of fake torrents coming out is on the increase and a seeder count of that level you've stated would confirm it is a fake.

FYI loon utorrent doesn't need a tracker to connect to any seeders as when a tracker is down it uses DHT to keep the download going

Can you view the IPs of each of the peers in uTorrent? If so just look at the list to see if anything is fishy, for instance a large number of IPs on the same range. That said the torrent is probaby stuffed and I'd find a new one.

well in my opinyon try the things that other people have stated and then if they dont work try getting another torrent client like bit torrent or bitlord or somthing els if you prefurr

It wouldn't be the client, its most likely either fake seeders a viral torrent or a busted torrent, a new torrent would fix it for sure.
