well it seems to be bad news for one piece fans stateside really One Piece was first dropped from 4kids TV's original programming schedule because of the poor response to the show. It has now been confirmed that 4kids is dropping the project as whole. This means cancellation of the dub and no more Cartoon Network premiere episodes. It's rumored that the cut has something to do with the low numbers the company has been doing lately (mainly due to the loss of shows like Pokemon and the completion of Yu-gi-oh) personally im still on the fence on if this is a bad thing cuz im used to the Japanese voices but i would like to get other thoughts on this you can get the full story here

i don't know if you know, but i belive that Funimation picked up the show. yet, im not sure if they just started were 4kids TV left off or if the whole series got redubed.

I know this because I have seen it on Cartoon Network been aired after the suposed last episode of 4Kids TV. The opening is now the original sung in english. the characters have different voices such as Usopp, Sanji, and Zoro. yet i feel Luffy's voice almost the same.
Zoro(Zolo) is voiced by Christopher R. Sabat which i don't remember who he voiced ( i belive its Picolo) so now Zolo sort of sounds like Picolo. also usopp is voiced by Sonny Strait so now Usopp sounds like Krilin from DBZ

personaly, i like the new one, i think they are trying to stay with the original format and not change it as much
