the latest wall i made using old styles (which caused most of my wallpaper
deletions back in two years ago) was deleted 10 hours back...
what I was surprised was that I received many favs, this indicated people may
like this poor piece. (surprised really)
So since it is deleted, I give you this:
This wallpaper sucks, I admit it
The attempt with Temperamental colors also cause this one, I guess it is back to
the old Devildude 2 years back, I used to love these type of walls, making bars
and gradients of colors and blending them on top of the character.
Wanna know why it sucks for me?
My PSD file, I sharpened the original scan so badly it looks like she is
hammered by sandpaper.
Why did I not unsharpened it? I have not the original scan, the file was rescued
from the old one which was saved like that.
I have to clean her so badly that there was overusage of blur
I have to resort to median cleaning
My blending output file for the PS 6 (YES I AM USING THE OLD PHOTOSHOP) sucks
cause I am so used to cleaning with CS2
Why I made it again? I guess this cuts closer to my old works, I sort of wanted
to try the old feeling of making walls that may get deleted when I wake up in
the morning.
So here goes.
Well, if you're trying to get replies that might explain what the reason your
wall got deleted, I'm not too sure. It might be lack of creativity.(besides the
design in the background)...I mean, perhaps they saw this work as a simple cut
and paste piece that has very simple effects added to it. If you ask me, the
scan doesn't look too bad. The design in the background looks as if it might
have taken some effort, but I think they might have mistaken it as some filter
whore wallpaper. And another thing is the scan is not very well blended, by
which I mean earlier when I said cut and paste. I remember you giving me some
advise about blending the scan with the surrounding elements in the wallpaper so
as to add some distinctive creative feels, or something like that. Perhaps you
should stick to what you can do as per your current experience and developed
skills. I for one, want to make it clear that these comments are simply what I
suspect are the reasons for your wallpaper being deleted. But, I CAN find some
good things about it.

I think the wall's not THAT bad...I mean personally I sorta like it.

ya know, the "faux renders" in the background don't look too bad...i still don't get how you managed to sharpen it so much lol
