This scan I submitted (http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/266921/) was deleted because somebody submitted a 'higher quality' version (you can find it here: http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/269763/)
I took a look at the scan and noticed that in fact, all this person had done was taken the same scan I'd submitted, enlarged it by 10% and then adjusted the levels slightly.
The scan is also slightly more blurred than the original.
Proof that it is the same scan is in the fact that the artefacts created during in scanning are exactly the same (the white edge at the top right of the scan, the dust/marks on the paper) and proof that it was enlarged and had the levels adjusted is right here in the version I just made as an example: http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/4182/enlargedandadjustedscanir3.jpg
(although I can't adjust the levels the exact same way as he did it was the fact that it was resized that I am trying to point out, and my version actually turned out to be less blurry than his)

All I'm asking is that someone take a look at and compare both scans and you will notice that it isn't higher quality at all.

Well I personally think that the other scan IS higher quality, but you made a good argument that it's resized, which is against the rules.
