I think that the problem is a continuing storyline in those kinds of threads. At
the start, we're given an idea to roll with, and it's entirely up to the people
who participate to keep the thread going. If the thread gets long enough, the
game tends to roll in a different direction, but the basic idea is still
there.
I admit that it can be a bit confusing at times (especially for those who don't
bother reading the previous posts), but it's still interesting. If a person can
come up with an idea that other people can roll along with, and even expand
upon, then it's not really such a bad thing. It's just simply a matter of
following the story and keeping track of what other people leave behind.
yr right i rlly dont bother reading the other post b/c there r somtimes up to 10
pgs of post and thats a lot keeping trak of other people is sometimes hard.

the road, but i agree with GearStalker, in the end it still has the basic idea,
