i just had my heart broken. its the worst feeling ever. i really really liked
her too. but now it hurts so much. i want it to stop. how long is this gonna
last? anyone know ways to take my mind off the pain?
It's different for some people. It might take a few minutes, seconds even,
hours, days, weeks, months or even years.
Go out and engage in things you enjoy the most and try to take your mind off
things. If you can't take it off your mind, think of it as an experience, in the
most positive way. Although you might have had something unpleasant happen, it's
only something that'll make you grow stronger.
I know the feeling, and it took me over a year to slowly forget about it- but
after that, I've become a much much better person *hugs*
I've never had my heart broken, but when I need to vent or take my mind off of
something, I like to listen to music, get together with friends, talk to them,
or do things that I like to do. When I'm feeling down, I usually talk to my
friend, who's always understanding. It always nice to be comforted in times of
need.
"Remember that happiness is a way of travel — not a
destination."
"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so
long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for
us."
So go out there, and live life. You will soon recover about it, and remember
laughter is the best medicine. ^_~
As old Han said in Tokyo Drift, Life is about making decisions, and not looking
back.
