*sigh* Hello, this is actually my first time here in the forum and I was wondering if anyone would be nice enough to share the first anime/manga they fell in-love with... it doesn't really have to be the first anime/manga that you saw, just the one that probably caught your attention quickly and you knew that it was going to be one of your favorite ones... that sort of thing ^_^'... I apologize to those who found this rather weird (I know I sound weird and it's really embarassing!), this is my first time and I don't really know what to expect in here...

Anyway, to those who want to know, I think that the first anime I fell in-love with was Fushigi Yuugi... it was back in the Philippines and I was only 9-years-old. I fell in-love with it as soon as I watched the first episode, it was filled with humor, interesting and eye-catching plot, and I knew then that it was going to be one of my favorite anime! It did eventually and it still is... now it's your turn, I would love to hear from you!!^_^ Before I forget, I would also like to apologize to those who found this comment a bit too long (I know, I write/ type toooo much!! I just can't help it, sorry to say >_<) ... I'm really sorry! Now to stop stalling...

the first anime i fell in love with was sailor moon, that was when i was 8 i think? maybe 7? 9? something like that. neways, that was my first anime ever, and from then on i didnt watch anime for years except for really crappy things like zoids, pokemon, dragonballz, etc. and then i got the internet, got sky (for a while) and immediately fell in love with my second proper anime ever, Evangelion. Since then ive watched the Tenchi series, X TV, trigun, bubblegum crisis tokyo 2040, Cowboy Bebop both the tv series and movie... yah, think that covers my first animes. :D

I think i started getting into the manga reading with Chobits ^_^
but back then i read dbz but like didn't really know about manga and stuff when i was small ^^

first i liked Love Hina but then when i saw chobits that became my fav. Loved the intro song.

Captain Tsubasa. I always loved football and for me this was one of my first, grgeat animes.

Anime: Cowboy Bebop

Manga: Cowboy Bebop

I just can't get enough of Spike

One of my fav anime/manga comics is without a doubt Blade Of The Immortal...the artwork is amazing, interesting plot and a beautiful woman (Rin). :)

The first manga I fell in love with was Hikaru no Go. I love the 'realness' of the characters and the compelling storyline. I was amazed by Hotta Yumi and Obata Takeshi's ability to turn something so mundane as placing round stones into a Japan-wide (soon to be world-wide, i sincerely hope) phenomenon. Still am.

*salutes them*

The first anime I fell inlove with was and still is Weiss Kreuz and the first manga that I fell inlove with was DN Angel, I still like it but now I like R2 more, the only thing thats bad about that is that I really have a hard time finding R2: vol 2 with english text.

The first anime I fell in love with was Evangelion. It was after all, what started my love of anime, being the first series I had seen. Over the years I've fallen out of love with it, but it's still a fav of mine.

First manga I fell in love with is a toss up between Tokyo Babylon and X, probably more so TB because of the characters...
hehehe, I gotta add, the newest manga I've fallen in love with is Yami no Matsuei. I bought the first manga today and phweeeeee Tsuzuki!, I love it!

The first manga I fell in love with was Blame!. And it was also the first manga i read.

First anime I fell in love with was Robotech. Then Tenchi, and absolute fav. Oh! My Goddess. ^_^

zThe first anime i every fell in love with is a toss up between Berserk and Eva.

Wow!! Thank you everyone for sharing, I really appreciate it!! :D You all made me happy, I actually thought that no one would share (because I wrote too much...hehe, can that even be a reason? ^_^' )!! Well, I'll try to respond back probably later because I'm a bit busy right now, so got to go and thanks again!! XD *left happily and felt relieved*

the first anime that i fell for was please teacher.

The first was Saint Seiya, a long long time ago.

hehehe ... ... .. Trigun then love hina then Oh! My Goddess then Everything ^.^

The first anime I ever fell in love with wa Sailor Moon, and that was a long, long time ago when I was 6 and anime hadn't started getting big yet.I think what drew me in were all the cute girl :D *drools*.

Hm.... the first anime... well my first anime that I really liked was Tenchi Muyo!/Universe. But that was when I really started to like anime, I really dwelved into Tenchi, I put up a lot desktop goodies and downloaded a lot of music and stuff all about Tenchi.
But to actually say which I fell in love with, it's gotta be my lovely Onegai Teacher. This is what I call loving an anime. I bought a lot of merchandise just for Onegai Teacher, I bought all the books, the soundtracks, and repeatedly researching a lot of the seiyuu of the anime.
Then another anime I loved (although not as much as Onegai Teacher) is Ah! My Goddess. Oh My Goddess, that was a magical loving story, albeit short, yet a classic with spectacular music, great seiyuu and great concept.

I first fall in love with the anime flame of recca, and this is the starting point of my anime adventure.

doraemon..i used to want to get everthing of doraemon, manga and anime tape(i think that time vcd wasnt even invented yet)

the first anime i fell in love was fruits basket...it sOoo cute!!

hmm thats hard - i've seen way to many - first manga was Ah! Megumi Sama first anime was... I think evangelion... though i can say for sure what got me started collecting fansubs... Tokyo mew mew - a friend wanted to watch more - and i hunted it down - and got hooked on the hunt...
