I'm not too sure, I think the opening of Flag is my favorite, it's truly powerful. But it's probably my biased selection because I've lived in countries like those depicted in the show...

It's hard to choose; while there are plenty of shows with mediocre opening and ending sequences, there are also many with quite good ones. What comes to mind currently is The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi; both the opening and the ending really fit the series well, and were good songs in their own right.

I can only think of FMA opening/ending... I like the songs and I especially liked the opening when the song with L'Arc~en~Ciel was on... mm what was it... I think it was Ready Steady Go. Yeah, I really liked that opening and I thought it fit the series very well, and so did the ending, though I can't clearly remember it/them. I just know that I liked them a lot

The style used by Ergo Proxy's OP is a refreshing change too, compared to the usual anime openings.

The best opening song has got to be those from FMA, WEiss Kreuz and Full Metal Panic...
and there are only three anime series I can think of with cool endings: Rurouni Kenshin, Bakuretsu Tenshi, and Full Metal Panic...^^

i'd agree with come-inuyasha and opening would be... naruto 2nd opening. so symbolic in many ways.

opening - chrno crusade (suite the series way and its just look cool!)
ending - Fate/stay night and FMA last ending (I will)

Opening would be from Home made kazoku - shonen heart from Eureka 7
ending has to go to the One Piece 15th ending i don't remeber what the name was

i would have to say either the 1st Bleach Opening with the Asterisk. It just gives me that present day all around modern it could happen anyday feeling.

Ending=Death Note Ive only watched/heard it a few times but it kinda sucked me in i had to watch/hear it all before i can do anything else
