Hmm, I think the background is too simple. The wallpaper itself kinda not
"productive". You need to work with the extraction. The clouds seem
unreal, and too many "fake" stars. Plain black for the dark sky. And
you should clean the scan. Look at the uncertain colours of her dress and arms.
And notice that wing you left on the scan?
And you didn't add your own signature on the wall.

And I don't like that moon.
One thing most people don't realize: black skies are murder to work with
- I would suggest using a gradient for the sky (use dark blues, or, for sunsets:
yellows, reds, oranges and pinks.) Also, outer-glow doesn't always work well
- The scan needs to be more neater and you need to fix that cut-off part on the
right bottom side. The extraction, while jagged, looks alright. I would suggest
either vectoring or re-painting the scan to make it neater.
- The clouds aren't working. I would suggest either getting some good clouds
brushes (try deviantART) or re-painting some stock clouds.
- The stars are way to heavy. They look more like water droplets, if anything.
Again, try deviantART for some star brushes, or try using the default Photoshop
brushes (the soft, round, size 3-9 brushes).
- The moon... well, it's alright, but I don't think it looks that good in this
particular wall.
- You'll also need your signature
Alright, pretty much what I have to say, most has been said before. The clouds
look too "fake". Try checking DA for some great brushes. ^_^ That's
where I get all of mine. As for the moon, it's too big for this wall and again
looks a bit fake. It just doesn't seem to work. I would consider either getting
rid of it or seeing if you can make it blend in with the rest of the wall. The
stars look like you just applied the noise filter. Again, check DA. There's some
really nice brushes over there.
As for Sakura, the outer glow just doesn't work for me. She also doesn't seem to
blend in too well wit hthe background. It looks liek you slapped her on there.
Try making you're extraction smoother. Also, duplicate the scan layer and play
with the blending modes and opacity/fill.
Hmmm
The scan: First of all, the outer glow is not very fitting, i would remove
it.
the scan is a bit grainy, here's a nice Tutorial
(click me) that shows a very effective way to clean your scan.
The background:
You need to work with the background...those "stars" don't look like
real stars you know...i've another Tutorial
for you that maybe will help you.
Hmm...as everyone has already said, you should go to http://www.deviantart.com/ to get some
nice cloud and moon brushes.
But remember that you must not abuse of the brushes! we don't want
brushwhores
Also the font need to be change or removed...
Oh well, good luck and hope it helps!
you have a very good scan img I will only point out you need to work a little in
the arms it can be seen the texture of the scan also in the lower left corner of
the her dress there is a piece missing you could repair\cover the area and in
the right hand the one you see the elbow you could repair the white color it
seem the remaining of a wing or something. but in my opinion you got a good wall
and the general idea of what you want expres is all here keep the good work nad
remember we all need practice that is all

please let me know what it needs. Constructive critism is very, very much appreciated.
