According to the AnimeSuki forums, Hayashibara Megumi spilled the beans on her radio show Heartful station that the playstation 2 RPG, Shining Tears is to be made into an anime. What we do know is that the game's opening theme, "Shining Tears" will be used for the opening of the show. And that it will be animated by Studio Deen, and directed by Watanabe Hiroshi who also directed Law of Ueki, Jingoku Shoujo, and Tactics. Let us hope the anime will be a little better than the game, which X-play gave a 1 out of 5.

lay doesn't really like many games unless they are Halo or games that are always advertised. But that will be awesome to see that as an anime. I Thought it was a fun game.

Yep.. it's been confirmed. The name for the anime is Shining Tears x Wind (x=cross). Hoshi Souichirou snagged two character, and both OP and ED is the same as the games, also by Hoshi Souichirou. Wow... he's going all out on this! Way to go! btw.. someone from LJ mention that the anime is probably a merge between Shining Tears and Shining Wind games, thus leads to the name. But unfortunately, Xion won't be in the anime.. at least, according to the official sites.
