i just got a really really bad shot with my prof. (a gay prof!) in integral calculus just because of misinterpretation of my message... i think he doesn't like me ever since, now, i feel worst
i just hope he would work professionally and won't take it personally,..
maybe, he got mad at me because i was telling the truth
oh well, truth hurts
anyway, feel free to open up with sharing the same insights.
i wonder if anyone of you experienced getting a low or failed grade because the prof. took what you did personally
Hmm... yep... i think it was
during my 3rd year...
He failed me in one of my test...
Intentionaly
And I know i got most of my answers
correct

And thats just because he doesnt
like me for some reason...
Ow, not yet... And I hope it won't happen. I had one misunderstanding from my prof in biology, I was in my third year highschool. It was because of my very tactful mouth! OMG! i won't ever forget that. And from that time on, she doesn't call me during class discussions and other class interaction, nor she even talk to me. I thought my grade will get really low because she might use it to fail me. But I was glad she did not went too personal that she will include my grades. whew!
But, it was really hard being treated like I was an invisible person...
Fortunately that terrible thing never happens to me (and my friends as well)
You see, most of our profs are busy with their lecturing, researches, and (often) leading some governmental projects. With all those jobs, they have no time to deal with students personally.
Oh, and almost all of them are friendly toward us. Any problem, including misunderstanding can be discussed anytime.
How lucky I am!~
wow,..
good for you then,
hmm...i wouldn't want to talk anymore... i shall tame my tongue as well as my mouth once again!
Nope... never experienced that thing. I'm one HELL of a good boy! *whistles*
Yea right...
Good Boy my foot
K.Ken
Being a debater by nature, I've pissed off most of my teachers and profs when I was still in school. Ever since kindergarten my mom taught me never back down from teachers. Love me or hate me, they can't fail me. I'm just too good in class. Ken knows that first-hand. Remember back then, Ken, when I put down that old hag, Prado. Piece of crap teacher thought she could fail me... ulyaning gurang.
About your prof.. tatambangan ko na ba?

Who the hell are you trying to kid? >=0!
^_^' ingat ka! bading yun! im really pissed off with that prof.! palibasa kasi tutuo yung sinabi ko sakanya kaya dinadamdam nia,
Oh yeah... I remember now! I have one...
It was on High school and I'm 3rd year that time (you know this Jak!). He's a Social Studies teacher and I pissed him off the first weeks of school if my memory serves me correctly. And well... he really didn't fail me that time but I sure did a good job on his (maybe her?) subject and alas... got a high grade on him (her?). He's (she?) not worthy to be one...
My English teacher. Just because I was being shy and didn't felt talkative, it was his time to embarrass me every time we would recite our weekly vocabulary to the class, or I prounounced a word incorrectly (like ascertain, nobody knows it the first time) He was also rude, giving me bad grades on reports (and even when my stepfather helped me, no less; and he's a teacher too!) and just...just...being an ass. And yet, I love writing, and this stupid teacher pretty much killed my future career...
Nope, most of my professors like me. I wish that I wasn't such a goody two shoes.
ehe, actually, this happened to me twice now. the first incident took 4 years ago (2nd year highschool) hehe, she tried to failed me, she put me on the list of remedial class (like a summer class only it's optional) but i didn't attend, crap it, i know im more than good to be put to that remedial class,! arggh, ehe, she couldn't fail me, because im getting really high grades with her tests, poor her, hehehe, i hope i could win this next battle of mine...
Well there was this prof at school and I really hate him because he's overreacting too much...
Me and my classmates were off to the tech lab to have our projects printed. We are really in a hurry since we knew that we still have a class in 2 o'clock although we have this fifteen minute rule in our school (you are not allowed to enter class after fifteen minutes after the time). Then the prof barged in the tech lab and was shouting at us because we are, guess what, a minute late...2:01 pm! and he even locked us outside the class...then demanded an apology letter without any reason at all...does he know about fifteen minute rule!? I know he's aware of that...and besides, he is no position to demand an apology letter because there was no jurisdiction because we are not fifteen minutes late! GOSH!
well, i think i just messed with your brains...
ehe,..crap such profs... that's Absurd!
hold on
im sure it ll work out. wait until you graduate. also it sometimes happens that people retire ot get fired. i actually knew a number of profs who quit our university. in my case it's bad because i could use their help.
but i must admit you re right, certain profs have preconceived opinion about students (like "i have a ph d and they are young and stupid").
WTF!? Damn I hate these kind of people, I think there lust for power has driven them mad and to do absurd things like this. It's like they can't wait to get anyone in trouble, and wait for the right moment to pounce.
rorenzu, I know this might be late but I think you should tell your side of the story and be honest with the professor and tell him that you might have sent the wrong message to him and tell him what message you wanted to give him in the first place. I find that honest has brought me out of tight situations and telling my side of the story as well, to clear up any misunderstandings.
lol sorry I didn't answer your question. Yeah I think this did happen to me once, back in high school, my english teacher, he'd was pretty biased towards giving his "favourate" students higher grades. Once I gave a speech and I said it was over the time limit. I know it was a risk, but at least I met all the criteria and memorized it and delivered it without palm cards. And WTF I got a B and other people who used palm cards and didn't cover all the criteria got A. Man was I ticked off! >=0! I mean I'm not blaming his favourate students, I'm criticising the teacher.
But I thought hey no use arguing to him cause I know he could change my mark on purpose and that even if I did argue I couldn't win. So I had to endure it. It was like taking the lesser of the 2 evils.
I guess sometimes it's good to keep you're mouth shut, and not get on the teacher's/professor's wrong side, but then again, I dunno, I guess if enough's, enough you have to report the teacher/prof. in.
Well thats my side of the story and I hope my advice helps you rorenzu
so far this has not happened to me cause i've been a gud girl so far but now a days i like to fucking throw them to the trash can cause they always criticize our claz cause my clazmates are a bit naughty i freaking hate them!
hey guys, i won it
i
didn't failed my integral calculus subject
and even got a higher grade than what i'm expecting
