You know, I've never seen a fat forty year old dressed up in Sailor Moon drag. I
feel I'm lacking in my con experiences.
It's not that the people above shouldn't cosplay. I mean, a lot of the anime
fans in Japan are achne nerds anyway. I think it's more hilarius than anyone
else. That Saber cosplayer looked like he was stoned or something.
One reason I dont go to cons... that and the smell. But seriously, I think most
of these guys only cosplay so they can get away with cross dressing, badly, in
public. They may saw otherwise but then again governments say that they will do
stuff to help the community etc... its so easy to lie these days

Yes, unfortunately, the world of cosplay is not pretty. Aside from the few
"cosplay professionals" (such as Jan Kurotaki who is the hottest thing
to ever happen to cosplay IMO), most cosplayers do it because they like it, not
because they look good. That's why there are men dressing up as the
Sailor-senshi, and fat girls as under dressed characters like Lum. For the few
that pull it off perfectly, there are countless that make our eyes bleed.
