Today i submitted this scan: Lilim Kiss evil by FaiTCRaH
and it was deleted. The reasons of this was about his resolution.
Anyway, i don't care too much about this... but the fact is that i've been
warned for submitting a enlarged scan... but, the thing is that this scan was
submitted before on MT, even before the actual Monochrome Scan section was
created... i've downloaded this scan and since then i never touched
it...
The only proof i have is the date of the scan... 08-24-2005, but since some
cleaning on MT, this scan was deleted...
I'm not the one that submits enlarged scans... and this, was directly downloaded
from here...
Posting enlarged scans is not allowed by MT policy. It doesn't matter if you are
the one who enlarged it or if you found it that way - it must meet the minimum
quality standards in order to be kept in the gallery.
Just because the image used to be in the MT galleries doesn't mean it can be
reposted. It may very well have been removed for being enlarged in the first
place. Of course, it sometimes takes a while for mods to discover these low
quality scans and remove them so they may persist in the galleries for a while,
but that doesn't mean they're allowed.
Quote by FaiTCRaHThat scan is not
resized... this was downloaded directly from Minitokyo, before the Monochrome
Section was created...
How can i prove this? the modification date of that scan is from year 2005...
That scan has blatanly been enlarged. If you say that you
didn't enlarge it then whoever submitted it the first time around did it... and
they would have received an official warning for it too.
MiniTokyo only accepts scans of the highest quality for its members to use in
their wallpapers.
It is obvious to tell from just looking at that scan that from the blurry
quality of the lines that it had been enlarged.
Whether you were the one who enlarged it or not is not the issue here. The
problem is that it is against the rules to submit scans that have been enlarged
because they reduce the quality of the image. You have submitted a scan that has
obviously been enlarged, therefore you have broken the rules and therefore you
have an Official Warning.
Just be more careful when sbmitting scans that you find on the net. If they are
blurry and pixellated like that then they've been enlarged. And if that is the
case then don't submit them.

The original name of this scan is Minitokyo.Female.Scans.Lilim.Kiss%5B165054%(...) and you can see it here: http://img93.imageshack.us/my.php?image=minitokyofemalescanslilrr0.jpg (yes, it is enlarged, but not by me)

Ok... no problem with that... i'll re-check any scan before submitting here...

The First Warning still stands.
