Tokyopop holds a contest where mangaka competitors submit a short story manga entry. The winners will receive a monetary prize and their work will also be published by Tokypop in Rising Stars of Manga anthology. This is a great opportunity for the mangakas to go public and have higher possibilities to find editors and have their works published.

WELL, I read the Guidelines and Rules of Minitokyo and I think it's fine for me to shamelessly (though all out of good will! ) promote a great artist and friend. Not only does her works possess gorgeous art but meaningful storylines, both funny and serious.
