List your favourate Nintendo DS games and tell us why they are your
favourate.
Mine so far are:
-Monopoly, Boggle, Yahtzee, and Battleships (4
in 1 game): Those games are very addictive to play and whats even better
is you can play them with your friends on the same DS or friends who have there
DS with just one game cartridge, except for Monopoly and Yahtzee.
-Animal Crossing: Wild World: Just like
"The Sims", lots to do and you can play online through Wi-Fi (Wireless
Internet), either from a wireless broadband connection or through a specially
designed USB pen that allows Wireless Internet Connection for the DS when
plugged into a computer with Broadband Internet Connection. Or you could just
play locally with your friends who have there Nintendo DS, although each person
needs there own game cartridge in order to play.
Age of Empires: Age of Kings
Has good reply value and can jsut randomly start a map against teh com, the only
bad thing about it is the overload glitz where it freezes your DS so you hae to
turn off the power if you play it for too long at once
...
Mario Kart DS: I've long loved the series, and it's a blast to be able to sit
back anytime I want, open the DS, and inch up to the starting line. I'm slowly
working on winning all of the 100cc circuits one-by-one.
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime: I'm a huge fan of the DQ-series, as is, but
this is j a fun title that allows you to play as a slime (named Rocket) devoted
to saving his city. The tank battles are a hoot, the collecting aspect is fun,
and it's hard to put down. It is fairly short, and the lack of a second save
file was a terrible move, but it's one of my favorites on the DS.
Currently playing: Phoenix Wright -- Ace Attorney & Castlevania: Portrait of
Ruin.
I've also got Pokemon: Diamond pre-ordered for the system.
TETRISSssssssssssss... Hours upon hours upon hours of my life have been wasted
playing Tetris DS. I got really addicted to wi-fi for awhile...
Now I'm just trying to beat my high score of 8 million, but don't have another
oppurtunity to play 12 hours straight, lol. Too many hours, I tell ya. *twitch*
Jump Heroes Ultra - every anime fan should import this amazing game, just about
my favorite anime characters were in the game, you could have super saiyan II
Gohan fighting alongside Naruto, its like a super smash bros for the DS,
definitely worth the money pad . . .
Mario Kart DS - because it's awesome, i remember rockin out on the original for
SNES, nostalgia sells games . . .
Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl
While these games are in no way groundbreaking, they are pretty much a
"best of" the whole series. Great addicting fun just like every other
game in the series.
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin
These games are brilliant explorative platformers, they look stunning and have a
lot to keep you coming back. If you own a DS you should have at least on of
these games.
Advance Wars DS
Completely addicting strategy game, when I first got it I played over 100 hours
in the first two weeks, an absolute timesink. But its for good reason, the game
is just that engrossing.
Mario Kart DS
Its Mario Kart, and you can play it with eight people or online. Not only that
it but on top of the 16 new tracks it features 16 retro tracks from the SNES,
GBA, N64 and GC version of Mario Kart, ther really isn't much to argue with
here.
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime
While this game is ridiculously easy, its really quite fun. Its a simple
adventure game that combines a light RPG/collection element into it. The tank
battles are easily the highlight of the game and if you can find a friend to
play against this game really shines.
Tetris DS
Its Tetris and its online, what can I say?
New Super Mario Bros
Again its like a new set of stages and a fresh lick of paint dropped straight
onto Super Mario Bros 3.
Phoenix Wright: 1 and 2
I title I'd never have expected to like. Its a text adventure about lawers.
Sounds so terribly boring but its truly on of the most gripping experiences I've
had in all my gaming days. A few downsides are the linearity and the fact that
once you've finished it there isn't any reason to come back, but its definately
worth playing and this series is the other one on this list that would be
criminal not to at least try if you own a DS.
U guys should try the game out its like got really good graphics and the story
lines good. If u play note that my favourite characters are Spire and Trace...
Still Tetris...
but now I love Chocobo Tales too. Who knew minigames/microgames/card game/fairy
tales would fit together so neatly into one cute package?
i don't have one... maybe ill get one? xD but there are some stuff i wanna
try... @_@... somethings you just have to get even if its on the other system if
you're a fan =3... like.. castlevania .... phoenix wright * heard it was good or
something*
and a few others
jump ultimate stars, a game thats like smash bros except it has all shonen jump
characters like... from dbz, naruto bleach.... all the way to death note prince
of tennis and slam dunk characters....
and! phoenix wright.... a cool game where you play as a defense attourney... and
bring justice to bad people =)... its cool game.. very detective-ish.. if you
like the whole csi typa thing
Ouendan & Ouendan 2 - Awesome music/rhythm game and it get much more fun in
the second game when playing the Hardest mode with the stealth mode turned on
(the timer rings that help you are turned off)
Elite Beat Agents - The American version of Ouendan
Rune Factory - Harvest Moon with monsters and fighting~
Pinky Street Kira Kira Music Hour - Another Music game and seems incredibly
girly and the game play seems simple enough but the songs get much much
harder
Animal Crossing - random fun?
Jump Ultimate Stars - like smash bros on ds with anime/manga characters
It's Phoenix Wright (also known as the Ace Attorney series) all the way, Hotel
Dusk Room 215 and Touch Detective are good.... go figure... my favorite type of
game, point and click adventure and type of book, mystery, together as one.

I dig EBA, and I also like Resident Evil DS and Castlevania:Portrait of Ruin.
Jump Heroes Ultra - every anime fan should import this amazing game, just about my favorite anime characters were in the game, you could have super saiyan II Gohan fighting alongside Naruto, its like a super smash bros for the DS, definitely worth the money pad . . .

I just got Cooking Mama and Brain Quest or something (forgot what it's called) and they both seem pretty interesting. I really like Mario though.
Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl
While these games are in no way groundbreaking, they are pretty much a "best of" the whole series. Great addicting fun just like every other game in the series.

Still Tetris...
but now I love Chocobo Tales too. Who knew minigames/microgames/card game/fairy tales would fit together so neatly into one cute package?
My favourite would be Mario 64 DS. It was a great N64 game and they ported it magnificently.
hmm....till now my favorite is Mario Kart DS, actually since the first Mario Kart series in SNES I've addicted to this game's.
n in MK DS it's much2 more fun...n i can play online.
this is the first game in nintendo DS that i've been addicted..:)
Mario Kart DS seems to be a popular choice, and no real surprise. It has that great "pick up and play" style while still providing a fun experience.
The Blue Shell still needs fixing though. Bring back the MK64 version. =(
FF3 is the best game on DS until now ( even it looks like the snes version) but having it wherever i go it's just amazing
i don't have one... maybe ill get one? xD but there are some stuff i wanna try... @_@... somethings you just have to get even if its on the other system if you're a fan =3... like.. castlevania .... phoenix wright * heard it was good or something*
and a few others
My most favorite right now are Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl. I need more money to buy more games for my Nintendo DS.
jump ultimate stars, a game thats like smash bros except it has all shonen jump characters like... from dbz, naruto bleach.... all the way to death note prince of tennis and slam dunk characters....
and! phoenix wright.... a cool game where you play as a defense attourney... and bring justice to bad people =)... its cool game.. very detective-ish.. if you like the whole csi typa thing
i only have 6 ds games so far and the best is probably mario 64 or new super mario bros
Ouendan & Ouendan 2 - Awesome music/rhythm game and it get much more fun in the second game when playing the Hardest mode with the stealth mode turned on (the timer rings that help you are turned off)
Elite Beat Agents - The American version of Ouendan
